I believe somewhen around 2018 government fixed the SKD loophole by introduce local content declaration. This make naza suddenly struggling because at that time many naza assembled models (Kia/Peugeot) are SKD. Price forced to raised suddenly when new models coming. Some budget model also outright discontinued (picanto, Rio, and then k3 cerato)Somewhere in between, they either lost interest.

Naza also lost the Chevrolet rights it gained in 2010s at that time. Chevrolet never came back ever since
