My policy purchased in 2023, I never made a claim. Until now, there is no surplus distribution "cashback".
Did any of you receive it already?
Note: I am NOT talking about Drive Less, Save More cashback. That's something else altogether.
Note 2: This ONLY applies to Etiqa motor TAKAFUL, not conventional motor insurance.

Surplus is a “surplus” only when there is “surplus” (meaning profit). If there is no profit there will not be surplus distributed. Same as above I too only received it once…

However, please take note that if the declared surplus amount was less that RM10, it will be donated to charity organization.

Ya just realized din get mine too for the past few years on the cashback. Maybe need to check their annual/financial report on the surplus part.

For my case, the policy period was Oct 2023 - Oct 2024. I wonder which year it is considered under, 2023 or 2024? Most likely 2023, and this is why I didn't get any surplus cashback. Thank you!

This figure is consolidated right? Meaning all general Takaful product performance is shown. Meanwhile surplus is calculated each product portfolio. Eg. Car takaful is one portfolio, Personal Accident (and each product line) have portfolios of their own, they wont consolidate and pay out. For mine, my NCD kept at 55% for 10+ years and sum assured is bare minimum 10k now, so I am not expecting any surplus to me anymore.
