I have 2 phones. Both poco android 14.

1)The first phone mum using but the person who setup already passed away. I was given an OTG flash drive. Its for me to backup the phone data phontos and setting.
So how do I do it? I do not know the password for phone setting but phone can still be used. Mum use daily to play games, whatsapp and call, take phones. The phone setting can access without password. I think the password saved in the phone so normal usage never prompt any password.

2)The second phone updated to xiaomi hyperos and I found out the copy to feature is missing. Hasle whenever do phone banking but cannot take screenshot and no copy to command to copy the receipt to a particular folder. Anyway to add the copy to command?

I am not into phone much.

2. I dont think there is any banking app that would allow you to take screenshot. There should be an option to send the transaction details to receiver after you finished the transfer.

Yes Xiaomi removed that Copy to feature in the new Hyper OS. But there is an alternative.

If you use banking app or any app that can generate receipt, you can just share the receipt to your Whatsapp (Yourself) as a contact.

Yes Whatsapp can store anything in your own account contact.

1. I'm unsure
2. I use a file explorer called "MiXplorer" that adds that option, but you need to use their file manager

Also, it's paid on the play store but free apk from their website

This is really a headache... try the following :-

1. Since the Old Phone still can be use, try setup a "Recovery Email" or "Recovery Phone Number" on that phone, there will be Verification OTP or Email for this steps, ensure its a VALID Mobile Number or Email Address.

2. Do a "Forgot Password" on the Old Phone, see whether it will send the "Reset Password Link" to the Mobile Number or to Email.

3. Change the password accordingly via that link.

Hope this helps... cool2.gif
