One thing I realised about SPM is that your grades doesn't determine whether you become successful or not in your life. It's about opening doors of opportunities for you to become successful ie. increasing your probability. Good grades gets you into good schools, scholarships, good environment to grow your skills, better paying jobs, smarter at business, etc.

Basically, this kid just screwed himself over by drastically limiting his possibilities and potential to be successful. I blame IG and TikTok, really.

So, why study and waste my time and parent's money (as if mine got any) where I can go straight to work on my own

I recently met an old friend from my old hood. He is just like the guy above.
