cant blame them. due to cultural revolution ppl grow up learning that resource are scarce and they need to fight to get theirs. it is like ppl say sg is kiasu, but prc even more.

only very recently in the tier1 tier2 cities the younger generation who grow up in affluence manage to grow out of the typical prc stereotype. but for many poorer ppl they still not yet. this one will take generations to fix.

even sg, lky say they had to force ppl to not pee in elevator by fining, install camera, jail, etc.
