They have different or no perception of “personal space”. I believed that’s because china was too over populated that’s why everything need to be grabbed by force if u want something. That’s why there’s no rule of queuing or respecting ppl space like that because they themselves also don’t have it.

I suppose it applies to the red necks cos city dwellers are quite well behaved. Same everywhere la, except for Japs tourists.

Haven’t been to China but from online videos, the younger gen looks like got bigger world view.

But their tourists here mostly old people. Really cannot tahan. The problem is they are dirty and got shot attitude. Very rude most of the time.

when i was in Japan recently, the CCP tourists quite well behaved

I have not seen even once like those depicted in sohai Douyin videos, eg harassment calls made at midnight, pee at the graves, etc

although it is definitely my survivor bias

Met 1 during my trip to Seoul last week. Cut queue when paying for dinner. The line is not even long ffs.

Last time I was waiting for train to go up to Bkt Bendera. Then noticed, this amoi with umbrella, quite pretty, dress unusual, like not a local.

She pretend to be standing at one place, then she would stroll a bit in front cut line, then stroll a bit more, cut line.

Then I realized, she is prc people.

On another note, to my surprise, PRC people in HK are very well behaved. When waiting for bus, they all line up like the locals in long line.
