Because you went to tourist area la dei, of coz will packed like sardine. There are so much non tourists place to explore where there’s literally no ppl at all during weekdays like shinkiba yumenoshima

Tourists always went to the same place shibuya shinjuku ikebukuro meguro shimokitazawa sangenjaya then complain tokyo so packed. There are literally 23-ku in Tokyo for you to explore.

The tourists aren't.

Same with japs, throw rubbish everywhere. Some even put empty drinks at the toilet. Old jap ppl also spit on the floor while walking.

Try go non touristy area next time, at most places seem like dead town even in Tokyo during midday and night. You can even explore their local grocery store like life, ok, aeon, maruetsu etc.

There are many free parks to explore. Like shinkiba yumenoshima, toyosu lalaport where you can walk until haruumi bashi to see both Tokyo tower and skytree. Toyosu roku chome dai ni kouen also very nice to walk around and 天王洲アイル水辺広場, umi no mori kouen etc.

So much place to escape tourists.

contrary to popular beliefs, alot of soaplands do not entertain foreigners.

maid cafes are aplenty in Akihabara, Shinjuku and Kabukicho but those are traps - if you so much make eye contact/entertain their street peddlers - you will get dragged in to their shop. they will talk to you, feed you in cute outfit and then charge you RM60.00 for a cup of orange juice.

if you don't pay up or make a fuss, probably the Yakuzas will come and rough you up.

Some soaplands in ikebukuro serve foreigners but the extra “foreigners” fees can be very high, also need to depends whether the girl wants to accept you or not. I asked the manager outside the shop before.

Cityheaven can check everything if interested biggrin.gif
