Sometime it makes me wonder how many % of user in GC with female tag are actually a guy ? But heck who bothers. Anyway, don't take me wrong here. I just trying to lighten the mood and also it's been awhile since I come to GC. Most the time I lurks in AS and GH.

Talk bout girls gamers, it seem like here have quite a group and I notice even in East Malaysia Girl Gamers are growing as well. Even now, girls can sometimes easily beat guys in games that they favor. For that I really glad(Guys don't take this as an offense please =p oh wait I'm a guy too).

Anyway, how many girls here are actually in the working society yet still loves to play games ? I find it is very hard to find these type of girls. Again don't get me wrong, it just my curiosity. I only known a few but almost lost contact with them already. *sigh*

edit: some grammar error correction

P.S: Damn my office 40gate firewall. Blocking all the image file (even the edit/quote button is not shown,I have to disable image loading to get the 'edit' hyper link just to edit my post).

Yukirin> I am one of them. XD

There's a lot of female gamers. You simply need to know where to find them XD Otherwise I won't have a bunch of female gamer friends with me all the time.
*
Well, you're in W.M'sia right ? Then probably have more. In East M'sia like Kuching City, I barely see much of them. Additionally, half of the female gamers here are particularly into on9 game such as Mo Shiang. I hardly see much of them in other game such as CS or WC3...except for those clan which have females players.

well Gladys, I'm not saying I don't believe you're female...but I just got my hackles a little raised when you said that we're all shemales with female tags here...cos the last time I checked, I am most definitely a girl...

so I just figured that if you're gonna say that most of the females here are shemales with female tags, what about you? That's all.
*
Hey Hey, chill ya both of you. Be friends will ya. Its still freaking early in da morning to get into argument. Come come let me pat both ya head (hope both don't bite =P). Furthermore, I remember there's a poll in GC asking the gender of the peeps who visit GC. If you see those then you probably have a rough answer to your question.

hey hey I'm all cool. smile.gif

anyway...

anime song..
cosplay...
no idea what this is...gyaruge gyarugee?
watashi zenzen dai suki?

what're you trying to say in the last sentence?? (your siggy I mean)
*
Ahahaha, sorry my Kanji sentence composer still very poor. Still in Learning progress. Now I have fixed the sentence (I think should be correct now). Anyway go http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/~jwb/cgi-bin/wwwjdic.cgi if you want to know the last few sentence means.

Reason why I try not to say it out loud here cause later people might think I'm weird.

Anyway, I try to learn Jap through online whever I'm free so that I can read and speak fluently. Since it's my interest as well so there should no reason for me to give up so easily. If I can learn to intermediate level, then I can give my job career a boost as well.

P.S: anyway the anime character in the avatar of mine has the same interest as what I said in my siggy XD

edit: add some more talks =p

At least that's what I am thought in Japanese class.
*
Yup, your's correct. I mix up with the word "zen zen" and "totemo". I only recently pick up where I left years ago during my collage time.

By the way Feyhime, you still continuing your Nihongo class ? Self-learn or Attending lecture class ?

Then again, I guess you know what my siggy means as well =3

P.S: heh, sorry TS. Your thread been hijacked >.<

What's JLPT ? Was it an exam?

Well. let me guess, majority who ask "When are you getting married?" question is probably parents/ relatives right ? Even in my family and relatives. They tend to ask this occasionally. My replied to them is like " I'm still young and need to save money before I can get married" (Since I'm a guy).

IF I'm a girl (age 24~27),

CASE A (Whereby I already have BF and have relationship => 2 year) then
"Well, I get back to you when my BF have confident to form a family =p"

CASE B (Whereby I already have BF and have relationship < 2) then
"I think I need more time with him before moving to next stage"

CASE C (Whereby still single) then

"Well, It's hard to find a guy who really suitable to me XD, by all mean I not choosy but at least a person who love me, very thoughtful and have a career"

Anyway, those word are just my thought so no hard feeling to those who read it (especially girls). If it's friend who ask this question then I probably would joke it off.

Well, I think replying in this manner to other people beside your parent is all right. If parent were to ask, try not to be rude on replying back. After all, they are the one who raised us right ?

When a girl is too attractive, guy with low confident tend back-off. For those decent guys, mostly they either have GF or married. I think this is what most people are now. With those kind of thinking, these people will always contain themselves with cyber world, especially much much into gaming like MMO's. (Damn, for some reason I'm pointing at myself)

Edit: I just love to talk =p Since my work in office finish...well don't care just chat. Bah add spoiler tags to make my post shorter

Wish you the best in your JLPT, fey. Well, if relative keep asking whenever there's gathering, just laugh and walk off. These kind of relatives I just ignore/evade them when they chat in this topic any where nearby

P.S: Gosh, It so damn bored when there's no work to be done at the office. Wish I could just sleep~~~~

Heh, and I thought I'm the only one who careless about this. I brought out this question out of curiosity. I recall when I was around the age of 13 (Form 1 that year) this topic was quite a discussion among the student.

Hmm...now I can't think of a good topic to start de chat >.<

Ok girls, I found a topic which is quite disturbing in my point of view but I think I should share with all of you here since here is a free chat thread. Anyway, here it is,

QUOTE

Canada chides Japan on sex slaves

Canada's parliament has unanimously passed a motion calling on Japan to apologise for forcing some 200,000 women to serve as wartime sex slaves.

The motion sponsor, opposition MP Olivia Chow, said the episode constituted "crimes against humanity".

The women affected were mainly Chinese, Korean, and Filipina, but other nations have demanded Japan apologise.

In 1993 Japan issued an official apology over so-called "comfort women", but parliament never approved it.

Former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe caused uproar earlier this year when he said there was no proof of state involvement - a statement he later played down.

'Formal and sincere'

The symbolic, non-binding Canadian motion calls on Japan to "take full responsibility for the involvement of the Japanese Imperial Forces in the system of forced prostitution".

It must offer "a formal and sincere apology expressed in the Diet to all of those who were victims".

Japan said it regretted the vote, and it would not help bilateral relations.

Similar motions have been adopted in the US and the Netherlands.

Speaking to the AFP news agency after the vote, Ms Chow said: "For me, this isn't crimes against 200,000 women. It's crimes against humanity and all of the world's citizens have a responsibility to speak out against it."

"Fifteen-year-old young girls were subjected to torture and raped by countless men for weeks, months and years on end," she added.

Old wounds

The comfort women were forced into brothels for Japanese soldiers in the 1930s and during World War II.

Japan's failure to apologise and issue official compensation remains an irritant in relations with the nations affected.

In South Korea, surviving "comfort women" still demonstrate every Wednesday outside the Japanese embassy in Seoul. Many did not reveal their involvement for decades out of a sense of shame.

Japan set up a private compensation fund in 1995 as a way of offering recompense without officially acknowledging wrong.

But many women have rejected the offer, saying it should come from the government itself.

I really don't know what to say....speechless. What do all the fellow girls think ?

If you view the BBC News website, there's lot more source on this issue. The case was first brought to court on March 2003 (which is 5 year ago from now) by all the victims. Here's the SOS

I guess old scar wounds don't heal overtime eh

edit: Added more SOS, Anyway if this is inappropriate for this thread PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I WILL REMOVE IT.

Both of you has made me realize that how true your thought about this issue and this kind of thought is also a form of a person strength. Sharing you view makes people learn more and re-think about a lot of things. Thank you sense_less143 for sharing the knowledge on their society and feyhime for your deep thought.

I better go do my work first before posting. Monday sure got a lot of works. doh.gif

I try not to continue any topic relating to rapes now. Kinda made me more depress after a stressful work. Ok, new topic.

I've been wondering....Does anyone of you believe human have both "angel/devil" side ? I try not to sound superstitious but in reality I do believe that human have both side no matter how innocent they look. Just the only the matter of time when the right "key" leads the door to open the devil side.

P.S: After a stressful work trying to light up the mood cool.gif then continue to work again

Another interesting point to discuss is what actually constitute good and bad. I mean, if we were raised in a society where killing is okay, that makes it killing=good, doesnt it? Just because we were taught that honesty/bravery/ect is good values doesnt mean that it's good essentially.

Am I making any sense? 0.o
*
Ahh...someone began to question the teaching of humanity nod.gif .

QUOTE(feyhime @ Dec 7 2007, 10:52 AM)
Well I suppose what borders between good and bad is rather subjective.

But on the general, the bads are what you did to gain something for yourself at the expenses of others (even if it hurts the others tremendously in the process).

While the goods is something you do that will bring good outcomes to yourself and people around you?
*
Good points. But with all these thought in mind. Have we ever question the act that we did ourselves ? To generate a win-win solution was not always possible. Therefore, humans tend to curve their "road" to gain what they want, is it not ? Be it at working, business or relationship, nearly everything that we do, always bring results that lead to some loses to other. Think about it.

what's a SAPian? haha..

nah, I didnt buy anything in Nilai. As I said, it's mainly textiles and wedding supplies. And really, REALLY low quality random goods. We spent the whole two hours there at the warung store, eating lunch and slurping down ABCs smile.gif yum.

haha feel sorry for all of you smile.gif Now is my college holiday up until next year I should find myself a part time job or whatever, but too lazy~

Is there *any* job that is fun, easy, and pays a lot of money?

--

random:

given a choice, would you choose a job that:

1) You're passionate about but doesnt pay much OR
2) You hate (like really, really hate) but pays a lot.
*
SAPian = People who work in SAP field. If you ask uncle "Google" about SAP then you know whats SAP is. I sure you seen a lot of SAP seminar and event held in KL ever now and then each year by different company.

A job is fun when you understand and love it. A job will never be fun if you never want to learn it.

There's no such thing as easy money in the world. You have to work for it. Be it in business or working society. We may not feel it when we still under the care of parent. But you will eventually know when you start to take on the responsibility.

Anyway, I try not to preach too much(since I not a freaking priest/hypocrites), so I live by my own principle.

Ans: :random:

my option is 3) Try to love the job but average pay.

Since I start working November 2006 (right after I graduate), the pay wasn't that high but the job is kinda fresh for east m'sia. So potential for growth here is kinda big. However, now....since our company don't have enough implementation consultant like me, I kinda suck up all the work pressure alone here...which is bad. I can feel my health is degenerating as time pass by due to work pressure. icon_question.gif Sometime I wonder why during my college time I don't have other computer related degree except programming. doh.gif

You should take a day off to celebrate with your family or your soul mate. Not good to just work.
