they are not driving. they just like to send voice message instead of text. I don't like it because it is hard to search history.

Send voice chat is ok

What i most dulan is important info sandwiched between useless conversation

20 seconds of useless conversation

3 seconds of whats important

Close with another 10 seconds of useless conversation

Niama i need to listen to a 30-40 second voice note just to capture the 3 seconds worth of important info

If people send me voice chat, I will reply them by text.

You want to have a long conversation, call me. I won't entertain that stupid voice chat..

Nowadays most of the telco plans are unlimited calls. No need to waste time with the voice chat

I also dont prefer voice msg due to same reason above. Especially when I must spent twice the time to double check the requests verbalized. And then must scroll back and locate the chat again to confirm what I done is in accordance to the voice request.

Anything verbal tend to have "noise" amongst useful information since humans arent robots.. cannot immediately start with "Please do A and B, and make sure X is accounted for". Same goes for meetings as well... sure must have "introduction" to prep up the audience.

What I always fear are succesive voice msg that cancelled the earlier ones.

msg 1: "I was eating a nice chicken rice and suddenly have an idea.. why not ........... "
msg 2: "ok ok... ignore my previous request. I think its not practical. maybe we should....."
msg 3: "Hmm... lemme return to office and think further. dont do anything first"

yes

use voice chat should just be straight to the point

or at least have some decency and split out the important info to a different voice note

so if we decide to repeat listening also at least just listen to the important voice note instead of listening through the 40 seconds and jumping around the progress bar

I just reply with "no voice, text only" whenever i received a voice mail then straight away delete it without listening. No reply the messages until they send me text messages. So far no more voice messages. Even the bosses also idgaf. You wanna talk terus call, no need voice here and there

Not only that, the person keeps repeating certain things like they are stuttering. For example, "Mr Lee, I am Miss Sim, Miss Sim ummm...the document ah....the document of just now, please proceed...please proceed oh.,, then call...yah call the third party and inform me after done...yah inform after done..,

That's why some hkc do that. Easier to delete and deny anything when the shit hits the fan. Some more, can claim "misquoted" "misunderstood" "misinterpreted" and sewaktu dengannya reason.

Usually ciiiina use a lot of voice messages. Totally agree with some of you that their mesage goes around in circles and full of useless repititions. I usually reply by typing and informing that i can’t hear the messages because whole day in meetings/training.
