Send voice chat is ok
What i most dulan is important info sandwiched between useless conversation
20 seconds of useless conversation
3 seconds of whats important
Close with another 10 seconds of useless conversation
Niama i need to listen to a 30-40 second voice note just to capture the 3 seconds worth of important info

QUOTE(alanyuppie @ Apr 25 2025, 06:23 PM) I also dont prefer voice msg due to same reason above. Especially when I must spent twice the time to double check the requests verbalized. And then must scroll back and locate the chat again to confirm what I done is in accordance to the voice request. Anything verbal tend to have "noise" amongst useful information since humans arent robots.. cannot immediately start with "Please do A and B, and make sure X is accounted for". Same goes for meetings as well... sure must have "introduction" to prep up the audience. What I always fear are succesive voice msg that cancelled the earlier ones. msg 1: "I was eating a nice chicken rice and suddenly have an idea.. why not ........... " msg 2: "ok ok... ignore my previous request. I think its not practical. maybe we should....." msg 3: "Hmm... lemme return to office and think further. dont do anything first" yes use voice chat should just be straight to the point or at least have some decency and split out the important info to a different voice note so if we decide to repeat listening also at least just listen to the important voice note instead of listening through the 40 seconds and jumping around the progress bar This post has been edited by mafioso: Apr 25 2025, 06:53 PM
