for 500mbps RM90 will not get any bill waiver. TM are smart, since they want to counter astro price, they give you the same price of RM90 but they tarik that bill waiver. So in conclusion, if you got that 6 month waiver, the actual price is RM119 for 500mbps ((18monthx119)/24month = RM89) but they make it look like cheap2 of RM90 haha.

I thought now is RM139 for 500Mbps, where can find RM119 for 500mbps if not from SWU3.0?

My story about migrating to SWU5.0 with 12-month D+H:

On 20/06/2025, I visited the only TM Point in my area around 4:45 pm. I asked that service officer, is there a retention program or promo for contract-free users? She said yes, and started introducing her 2 SWU packages, which are 300Mbps FOC for 6 months, just one is without a TV 24-month contract, and another with a 55" TV 36-month contract, but both packages' monthly commitments are higher than my current one. Truly, I'm uninterested, as I told her I intend to reduce my commitment. So I wrote the SWU5.0 with Disney RM90 on her paper, and she said she got it, but she needs me to subscribe to the Unifi mobile for 3 months. And I also asked if I can migrate another account which still has 2 2-month contract. However, she said she cannot do any migration as long as in the contract, even though I offered to subscribe to another Unifi mobile. Therefore, I only managed to get one account contract-free, migrating to SWU5.0 with a 12-month D+H

23/06/2025 I received a WhatsApp from that officer who mentioned she had entered my order into the system this morning. The modify order is activated (completed) and the package name changed to Unifi Home 500Mbps StaywithUnifi 5.0 (Disney)(90) after one hour.

I will just keep my Unifi mobile for another 2 months, as I still have another account that is going to finish its contract on 23/08/2025. Plan to cut all Unifi mobile after I get that account migrated.

So the SWU 5.0 RM90 package still exist. Good to know. Hopefully this package still available until september when my contract ends.

Regarding the unifi mobile, do you need to signup on the spot and they will activate the sim card on the spot too?
Or the unifi mobile "arrive" with the package upgrade?
I'm thinking if I can challenge this enforcement by reporting to mcmc.
*
Yup, the SIM card will be activated on the spot as they will send you a payment link.

You request termination through unifi portal then
*
I had submitted the termination request on 4/6/25 and called 100 2 times for an enquiry, but nobody called me back for confirmation.
Even though the package changed today also nobody called at all. Just the package plan name changed.

So you submitted the termination request in the end you cancelled it before going to TM point?
*
Nope, I just take a half day leave to go since nobody call me at all regarding the termination request.
I asked that officer why nobody called me, and she said she did see an order, but not regarding the termination, but is for the refund after termination. However, I felt weird since I called 100 2 times, but nobody mentioned it to me as well.

Well, this is not important anymore, as no confirmation from the client side will not proceed with the termination. Moreover, my package name changed, so just wait for my next bill and see.

I'm still using the TP-Link AX73 at home. The installer came and checked, he said our router is better than theirs. So he left an unconfigured Skyworth router to us, we signed off and his work is done. laugh.gif
*
For my case is different. I asked whether I would receive a new router, but that officer said no, as I already have RG6 in their record. That's why I won't get a new device. There is no installer arriving at my premises. However, the package name changed after 2 hours when the order created in the app.

no idea how unifi decide we will get new router or not
as read here some just activate plan on same day. no new router
but i got new router

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jun 25 2025, 11:16 PM)
According to the person who called to retain us, in TM record, my router hasn't been changed for more than 8 years. So, it is time to get it changed.
*
Maybe this is the reason. I got a new router when I signed up for the SWU2.0 (but now is SWU5.0 tongue.gif )

QUOTE(Levi21 @ Jul 9 2025, 12:21 PM)
went to tm point just now, current plan is rm129 for 300mbps. I am unable to make changes due to account not under my name but my family member's name, need their thumbprint.

She offered me 2 package
1) rm119 300mbps,
- waive 6 months
- need to take rm39/month 30gb data sim. this one no contract, can terminate after 1-2months.

2) rm90 500mbps
- condition is need astro account number under the pretext that i am porting out and subject to approval from HQ. I have astro at home.
- also need to take the rm39/month sim.
question:
1) i see many request terminate online and wait for phone call.seems like they are not required to subscribe for the rm39. May I know anyone click request terminate but wasn't counter offered and the termination went through?
2) Because my family member still use the landline from time to time, so I would like to retain the landline and not port out if both are offering the same package of rm90/500mbps.
3) If lets say I am porting over to astro, is astro fibre stable ?
*
1. They need the owner's confirmation, so if you disagree, the termination won't proceed.
3. Same infrastructure

QUOTE(tng55 @ Jul 9 2025, 12:51 PM)
batter method request terminate online for unifi portal very easy once submit just wait tm will call you then they will say why terminate you say i got called astro offering 500Mbps RM90 then unifi will counter offer you 500Mbps RM90 confimed you don't need worry about  landline can be keep for unifi line
you don't need astro fibre i know its not stable
you don't need scared about unifi cut line
you don't need take to take the rm39/month sim.
no need SIM Card = no charge RM39/ month sim
*
Why you always claim Astro Fibre is not stable?
Do you have any proof or experience?
With the same infrastructure, the only difference probably is public IP or private IP (CGNAT) but this is not an issue or indicator to justify stable or not stable.

You're in 500Mbps RM119, convert to SWU5.0 (RM90) still 500Mbps
What is the difference? Do you think TM will bother your 500Mbps will be different with other's 500Mbps?
If 500Mbps really becomes case 300Mbps which will get a private IP, do you think YOUR 500Mbps won't get private IP?
Such nonsense.

yes i know but wont work offer 1GBPS price
explain 1GBPS PRICE RM249 so
if i take SWU 5.0 RM90 500Mbps still under contract if SWU 6.0 1GBPS RM1XX can't take due tm wont give offer 1GBPS RM1XX that mean can upgrade 1GBPS price will be RM249 itu problem lah
you want SWU 5.0 RM90 you take
please don't force me to do RM90 500Mbps

i hope Understand
*
Actually, nobody here will force you to take SWU5.0
