QUOTE(kwss @ Apr 29 2025, 06:12 PM) This is the expected behavior for anything that uses MASQUERADE in Linux iptables. ermm since i running OPNsense atm, idk where to configure thatJust DMZ your gaming device or enable UPnP or NAT-PMP. Alternatively get router that perform CG-NAT or EIM-NAT running on PC steam This post has been edited by ahboy99: Apr 29 2025, 06:18 PM |

QUOTE(kwss @ May 2 2025, 03:02 PM) What is this? The TM staff clearly says need to file a report just to check if you are behind CGNAT. I check and configure routerHe didn't confirm nor deny you are behind CGNAT. 1 Gbps plan definitely not CGNAT. TM CGNAT IP all comply to RFC 6598. Maybe OPNsense is out of your league. Just saying. and i checked it like different wan address and router is different ip instead, all stock configuration Its cgnat I know what im doing |

QUOTE(soonwai @ May 2 2025, 04:46 PM) Looks like no CGNAT. If CGNAT, your router WAN should show 100.64.0.0/10. i think i might double NATTed jic. need more further troubleshooting on my network. Now showing same IP address at Speedtest and router page. As per instructions here but Speedtest instead of ipchicken: |

QUOTE(go626201 @ May 2 2025, 05:31 PM) Yours picture show no CGNAT by TM. Thanks for the insightDouble NAT is on your own network. Luckily, CGNAT has not yet been confirmed for plans above 500Mbps. Otherwise, we can foresee serious lag issues on the unifi network the moment CGNAT is implemented. Most heavy users are likely on the 1Gbps or 2Gbps plans, so when the time comes, itβs very likely that networks in some states will suffer from heavy nighttime congestion. Unless TM deploys more CGNAT gateways to handle the additional load, the performance impact could be significant. Will do some troubleshooting on my side |
