Agree , because nowadays rm30-40 already have unlimited call with at least 80-100gb of monthly data , not necessary to get so high price postpaid monthly.

Now My unifi 126.15, + telco 42.4 = 168.54, if switch to celcomdigi one pro = 212 (include 6% SST)
That's mean topping up 43.46 + 114/month (Find x9 Pro for 24months) for the phone, so the phone cost 157.46 x 24 = Rm3779.04. Save about 1220.

but i do get like unlimited data

I believe x8ultra do support 5G in malaysia , because i do check the x8ultra have the same band as my vivo x200s , no need fix anything , just simply putting in your sim card and 5G automatic appear on your top right screen. But x9 ultra CN ROM not confirm yet because fastech lim stil didnt make a video review on it.


For the x9 ultra , i think if vivo x300 ultra going global , the x9 ultra will follow too.

hope so... am on s24u... waiting for samsung major update for s26u as well as new x9 ultra to compare... x9 pro spec is too good... cant wait to see what they have for x9 ultra later.

did u try other telco before? Cant comment much as i dont use Umobile , i do check my vivo x200s and find x8ultra having same band , but i dont have problem with my celcom to get 5g connection, on the other hand , sometime my iphone 16PM do drop from 5g to 4G and have to turn on and off airplane mode to get back internet connection.

U might need to check out on the Oppo facebook group.

I have 2 other sim on my x8 ultra, Unifi and maxis(physical e-sim card), they don't have any issue on 5G because they still on traditional 5G network band I supposed. Only umobile ultra5G I cannot connect and I supposed they switched off other 5G bands. Confirmed already not my sim problem as it worked on my iPhone 12 mini.

Right now I'm using Nillkin case. Feels good in the hands. I think most casing also about the same liao, just some more slippery, some more grippy.. Protection all ok.

Ordered from Shopee during 11.11 sale with RM500 voucher. When I chat with the seller, he said if got warranty claim within a year, he will send to China FOC. Really saved the trouble of buying from Taobao and me being worried if will kena customs tax.

These seller are just similar drop shipping from china that also use many other names (sweet technology, monmar tech etc) good luck on warranty claim in the future

How to setup china phone nicely you have to do it urself. But warranty wise you can just approach oppo service center any branch in Malaysia don't have to go through him.

iirc... buyer ask seller flash cn set to global rom... then ask seller for extra support... then go ask fast tech for support...

nothing to do with warranty...

I think I should be able to set it to English myself and get Google apps and notifications to work. Found a video guiding how to do it. I'll update once I receive it.

the only thing about china set,i did notice battery drain quite fast.im using x100 ultra.battery damn bad
