Camera quality it's really top notch. Less effort to take a nice photo.
Here are some reviews in chinese and english. The chinese reviewer are doing much better job in reviewing phones now compared to western youtuber. So much details and examples.

I see this phone checks all the boxes of what people want in an ultimate phone. Too bad it's only China market now. Might not even be available globally. Does anyone know, if getting China set, are we able to access 5G network here in Malaysia?

QUOTE(noos @ Apr 11 2025, 06:04 PM) If X200 Ultra is flat screen like X8 Ultra then it will be my instant buy.... 5G working too?Now I'm using X200 Pro CN version, other than not support e-sim, I don't think why I need to buy local set.... QUOTE(lolzcalvin @ Apr 11 2025, 06:26 PM) with or without HP9, X8 Ultra edy tapau samsung phones in terms of photography iPhone user here since 11,12,13,14,15 pro max. Android has caught up with iPhone in camera department. Not to mention ai capabilities is far far far galaxy ahead of iPhone. iPhone seems like a dumb phone now. their HP* sensors made useless with samsung's stupid post processings. plus Sony Lytia is better than HP* now. X8 Ultra packs 3 Lytia sensors (main 1", telephoto x2), u say tapau or not? coming from a person who is still using s23u |

QUOTE(brandonkl @ Apr 12 2025, 10:10 AM) I believe Oppo will launch this phone in Malaysia their first wave launch like their Find N5. They didn't launch X7 Ultra here did they?Oppo is really challenging Samsung and Samsung need to buck up. I am a Samsung convert to Oppo after 12 years with Samsung flagship phones and I switched to Find N5 in February from Fold 6. |

QUOTE(Icehart @ Apr 14 2025, 07:58 PM) Ultra series will likely remain an exclusive model for China only. damn la. that's unfortunate. Really interested with this phone and thinking of switching from iPhone liao. Been awhile I've interested in android model.I hoping they release one global version. This phone will absolutely murder the typical flagship brand. |

QUOTE(Icehart @ Apr 14 2025, 08:31 PM) Haven't touch Oppo before. what are the limitation? Can install google services right? All bank app would work still? The closest I've got before is Oneplus. The build quality was quite good. If you can live with the limitation of CN ROM, should be no problem. If I'm not wrong, Android Carplay won't work. You mean android auto won't work? maybe still can use my iphone 12 for carplay la. |

QUOTE(heary1985 @ Apr 16 2025, 06:43 PM) Hi All, As I checked Find x8 Ultra CN version less one 5G band n26. As Malaysia 5G band is n26/n28/n78. I am not sure if miss out n26 for the phone the signal will become weak or not? As I know WIFI7 for China Phone only have 160Mhz dont have 320Mhz become if you are using WIFI7 router cannot get the Full Performance. QUOTE(heary1985 @ Apr 16 2025, 06:48 PM) And another not sure is the 5G band n28 have any different with n28A? oh shit that's good find. I wouldn't want a missing band 5G leh... that sucks really. Maybe need to wait people actually import the phone and use here first to get answer. This is the only phone that interest me to switch from iPhone. Maybe I'll have to see vivo x200 ultra first.Because is see the official Oppo China all show n28A nope n28 https://www.oppo.com/cn/smartphones/series-...x8-ultra/specs/ https://www.frequencycheck.com/carriers/digi-malaysia |

QUOTE(heary1985 @ Apr 16 2025, 07:51 PM) Yes, I also very sad the find x8 ultra less the n26 band. No ideal why but the China version new x8s and x8s+ got the n26 band... haizzzz Google search the below info Digi 5G N26 coverage in Subang Jaya, Selangor, is primarily focused on urban areas and areas with high-density populations. Digi uses the N26 band (850 MHz) for its 5G network, which offers a good balance of coverage and building penetration, making it suitable for both urban and rural deployments. More details about Digi's 5G N26 coverage: Frequency: Digi's 5G N26 band operates at 850 MHz. Coverage: The N26 band is known for its wide coverage and ability to penetrate buildings, making it suitable for both urban and rural areas. Channel Bandwidths: The N26 band supports various channel bandwidths, including 10 MHz, 15 MHz, and 20 MHz. Subang Jaya: As a major urban area, Subang Jaya likely has a high density of 5G N26 base stations, ensuring good coverage in most locations. CelcomDigi: Digi is part of CelcomDigi, which provides 3G/4G/5G coverage across Malaysia, including Subang Jaya. 5G Availability: While Digi is one of the mobile network operators in Malaysia, U Mobile currently has the highest 5G availability. Checking Coverage: You can check for Digi coverage in your specific area through the CelcomDigi coverage map. The n26 seem is the important band at Malaysia. But Telco Maxis don't use the band n26 QUOTE(Icehart @ Apr 17 2025, 02:20 PM) Thanks for sharing. This is a let down but can't blame Oppo since they did not plan to release this version globally. but many said flasgship chip usually can use all the bands.. not sure if band is software disabled or not. So there could be ways to unlocked it? I remember this was the case last time. |
