Yes, I understand about the single glaze window.
But was wondering if got any tint type which is thicker or softer (like those gel phone screen protector) that can absorb some wind noise.
The tint type won't affect or cut down on noise much, if at all. In other words it should be negligible as it's just a very thin layer. Also, if you install a tint that's too thick, it may cause problems to the power window mechanism in the long run as the windscreens go up and down. As others have recommended, it's more useful to focus on more important areas that are able to cut down the noise from outside traffic, although a bit it's better than nothing. Start from inside the door panels. But was wondering if got any tint type which is thicker or softer (like those gel phone screen protector) that can absorb some wind noise.
Many years ago I installed some soundproofing inside the door panels, and to be frank, the difference is quite minimal. It's a very small difference, almost none. However, the doors felt slightly more solid when opening and closing so there's a slight gain there. In my opinion, it's not worthwhile to do soundproofing to a new car unless you are a fussy person and nit-picking, but then you need to spend considerable amount of money to get a worthwhile improvement. Usually few hundred ringgit, the difference is negligible. Now my motto is to buy a vehicle with good original soundproofing, or get one with less-good soundproofing and just live with it. Don't need to do any soundproofing as it's a waste of money. Just my opinion as others will think differently.
