Hi guys sorry for the noob question.
Planning to buy the eMas 7. But a bit disappointed in the ride noise coming through the windows cause the tyre noise not so much.
Is there any specific car tint type or brand that is good at rejecting noise?

It is not the tint film issue, it is the window type

emas window is not the double layer window glass, that's why when drive above 100-110km/h u can hear some wind noise.

Yes, I understand about the single glaze window.

But was wondering if got any tint type which is thicker or softer (like those gel phone screen protector) that can absorb some wind noise.

Sound proof for car hood and some rubber seal the door. It may help a bit.

Softer tyre like conti tyre also reduce noise. Cheap tyre is noisy.

You want car NVH good buy normal sedan or smaller ride, big tall cars dont expect less noise coz of aerodynamic drag (except willing to go up to premium brands), even with all these rubber seal, soundproof it can only soften the sound down but wont eliminate 100%.

The tint type won't affect or cut down on noise much, if at all. In other words it should be negligible as it's just a very thin layer. Also, if you install a tint that's too thick, it may cause problems to the power window mechanism in the long run as the windscreens go up and down. As others have recommended, it's more useful to focus on more important areas that are able to cut down the noise from outside traffic, although a bit it's better than nothing. Start from inside the door panels.

Many years ago I installed some soundproofing inside the door panels, and to be frank, the difference is quite minimal. It's a very small difference, almost none. However, the doors felt slightly more solid when opening and closing so there's a slight gain there. In my opinion, it's not worthwhile to do soundproofing to a new car unless you are a fussy person and nit-picking, but then you need to spend considerable amount of money to get a worthwhile improvement. Usually few hundred ringgit, the difference is negligible. Now my motto is to buy a vehicle with good original soundproofing, or get one with less-good soundproofing and just live with it. Don't need to do any soundproofing as it's a waste of money. Just my opinion as others will think differently.
