I wonder if the local BJJ gang sent anyone to compete in this tournament ?

Since one certain person keeps relentlessly promoting it and if they are genuine they should at least try to compete .

I found no evidence that they were there , but if anyone has contrary evidence I am willing to stand corrected.

But whatever they didn't win anything :

Well since you asked so nicely...

There weren't any official team representation, but 2 guys from KDTA competed (see results at www.bjj-asia.com). And yes you're right, they didnt win. tongue.gif

There might be more representation next year hopefully.

So who were these guys ?

surely they have names don't they ?
no shame to lose unless you deliberately withhold .

and why no team sent since they all claimed to be the submission leaders in Msia ?

Shit man even I was asked to compete , I didn't because the training fees too much and I don't value grappling only competitions.

I was asked to but since the training fees so high like rm 2500 , I said thanks but no thanks , pure grappling doesn't mean that much to me.

I already had the experience of rolling with the elite no gi winner.

So only Albert Lim has the balls to compete ? since I doubt Mr. Pincon is locally based - come one truth please.

I can always cross check this with my Thai contacts.

It seems KDT has a habit of using outsiders to rep them , wouldn't it be nice for a change to use their own people in action ?

And what about Jorusilat ? always talk so much about his BJJ , why never put it on the line as he says ?

Patrick Pincon is Malaysian. Who is the "outsider" representing KDT that you know of?

And to participate in the SEAGG, the enrollment fee for competitors is ThaiBaht 1.200 for each one of the tournaments or ThaiBaht 1.800 for the athletes competing in both BJJ and Submission Grappling tournaments . Pretty affordable. how come you have to pay RM2,500.00? hmm.gif

then answer the #@##### question - who do you train with ? KDT or Quico ? is there state the truth please or I can find out myself quite easy ?

If you refuse to answer this simple question as if there is something irregular to hide , then we can only conclude you are a Bull######r.

Why not ?

When are you going to cross train with me since you keep telling everybody else to x train ?

Oh yes , just as well you are with quico , because I've just been talking to my Thai contacts.

Apparently Kdt guys did win even 1 match in SEAGG.

Just the way it is dude , can't blame anyone for the result .

Er, hi there - a friend pointed out this thread to me so i just wanted to clarify for the record that i, Patrick Roger Wei-Min Pincon, am actually a Malaysian citizen (i'm a Pantai Hospital boy myself). smile.gif

I'm actually half-French and half-Chinese thus the crazy name - if you want to clarify this feel free to PM me or look me up on Facebook. And yeah, i roll at KDT...

Good tournament all in all and it was my first time attending one but hey it never hurts to try. Not sure how i ended up being the only person in my weight category as that was quite a shock so i was invited to participate in the next highest division (as you can see from the results).

Anyhow, thats about it i guess.
