why there is a gas pipeline laid in the taman?

From some videos and photos taken, seem like they were some soil excavation inside the gas pipeline reserve near the ruptured area.

Wonder what's a coincidence that the place where tha gas pipe ruptured is next to an active construction site. Perhaps the soil movement was the caused.

A lot of site workers has no knowledge of any safety protocols need to be carried out while working at sites especially those next to dangerous infrastructures, power line, high pressure pipes etc.,

The taman comes first or the pipe comes first?

Yep totally agree, persatuan penduduk most sohai wan la, especially the chairman feel he is prime minister demand left and right like everyone owe him

By law it's outside their land. U see the corridor of land owned by Petronas, as long u build outside then its legal. Don't even need a road, you build right beside pun legal as long u own the land. Same for electric pylon.

If measure at Google maps, seems like for gas pipeline the corridor is 30m wide while for tnb it's 40m wide, maybe need amend the law for gas pipeline to be much wider

All works related to ground must go thru mbsj and submission of ud scan underneath etc to get wayleave approval must be done

If they have done so and they have creep beyond thier approved distance the developer will be in deep shit

No worries that’s why they need to do a underground scan to detect all pipes like water , dark fibre, gas and maintenance pipes before they can

Pipeline first

Malaysia construction industry laden with corruption especially during execution phase.

I remember more than 10 years i ago during friday prayer i suddenly met my old friend working as civil engineer for some s**way project nearby klcc. He told me he eat duit haram too much already, everytime his boss want to cut cost with shortcuts, no need to meet spec, and lots of other breach in in design safety, his boss will ask him to sign and give him money. Basically anything happen he will become the scapegoat, not the boss or the other top management.

The shortcut road crossing above the gas line also got issue. Overtime sedimentation & Compression above will rupture the gas pipe.

that's why ppl got advise before as follows;

don't buy next to TNB substation
don't buy next to overhead power line
don't buy next to sewage plant

but now i learned got gas pipe line also

new advice:
don't buy next to gas pipe line
