Wow. that cake look really delicious. drool.gif

My sister love to bake cake. I only love to eat. hehe. Last time she tried a recipe from a magazine. I dun remember the magazine title. She baked a japanese lemon cheese cake. Really delicious. Recipe from magazine or internet are useful sometimes. Try it.

Ohhh.
Same as my bro. He also refer to books and magazine for baking.
That cake is baked by my brother. Top with white and dark chocolate rose. Inside is the chocolate and espresso mousse. One of his best selling cake. I think due to a nice rosy looking. Able to melt girl heart.

My bro interest in cooking and baking. He is not a real chef. Previously he used be to a Italian chef. Normal cooking only not until those fine dining. Then now more into cake baking. His recipe all from book and self trying it out. Able to create this smooth mousse is not that easy. Used a lot of his time therefore unable to share it. While for this cake is like his own creation. Here are another cake from him.

Actually i'm helping him in selling those cakes. Some sort of like home made cake. For more inquiry can PM me or email me.

Haha.. the only recipe that I have for it is...

1. Prepare bread, Butter, sugar or cheese tongue.gif
2. spread some butter on a piece of bread and add some sugar on it.
3. Put in the toaster and wait for it be half burn.
4. Done, enjoy it tongue.gif

The other recipe, nameless recipe

1. Prepare bread, sliced chicken ham, butter.
2. Heat up the wok and add some butter on it.
3. Heat up the butter till looks golden.
4. Put the ham at the wok and roast it.
5. Put the roasted ham on the bread and enjoy it. tongue.gif

my mum's recipe:
beat eggs with some honey,
sandwich ham between 2 slices of breads - keep them together by pinning the 4 sides with toothpicks
dipped the 'sandwich' into the beaten egg to soak then deep fry
soak oil with paper towel b4 eating

love this alot but a bit hassle lah to prepare

frankly it is not easy to share out good guarded recipes, and not easy to explain in detail every step without visual technique.
however i am willing to carry out and on into this hobby if you have a complete air conditioned kitchen fitted with an additional hot water pipe for such a professional
hobby and job like this.

i am an executive sous chef with a 4 star hotel in kl, and i am still pursuing this beautiful workable and most sought after post in malaysia today.
give me your email than you will see and know who you are mixing with. nod.gif

great skills are shown in practice and knowledge comes out through proportions and movements.
it is more than art, taste, patience most of all interest.

got to go now, bye.

Nice work, Joey! And amazing stuff, jehutyz.

I've missed making cake and experimenting with flavours. Anyone up for mojito cupcakes? happy.gif

Now speaking seriously though. Baking isn't that hard, you just have to make sure you do things right and don't cut corners. At least not till you know what you're doing.

I should make a youtube vid on cake making haha.

I've got a recipe for a great banana cake here:

Newbie in baking. Would love to learn cake decoration if I have the chance.

I found baking to be therapeutic; even more therapeutic than shopping. When I'm in the kitchen, all alone and quiet; focusing on the ingredients, measurements, directions and such; I'm able to put behind all my negative thinkings, problems or the rough days.

For those who would prefer a healthier and lighter cheesecake, try this:
