damn those micro scratches.. what did you do? Now you need to polish the scratches away. Get Tar/bug removal, put over it and let it stay for a while. It suppose to break it down or soften it so you can remove. netmatrix liked this post

Don't have polish cream? If not then try Soft99 Metaclean, not so abrasive but it's cleaning property is good.

Tree sap can use Meguiar's Ultimate Compound. Polish also can, but do be careful not to overdo it.

Glass is glass. I dunno why you guys recommend abrasives like polishing compound. The simple answer is by using solvent first.
Can use alcohol, thinner, spirit, turpentine, nail polish remover, paint remover, etc. Anything that dissolves paint. Apply, wait for a few seconds, then wipe off. The final best product to polish glass is CERIUM OXIDE powder. This post has been edited by netmatrix: Mar 27 2025, 11:13 PM |
