I want to know what's the process in Malaysia, if I want to interchange old car plate (parent name) to new car (my name)?

I heard that I have to change the old car ownership to me first? Then only can interchange, can do it in 1 day and 1 paspukom inspection?


Or any alternative way? Thanks
