So selow. You can read his opinion directly.

You know... People always said Trump is anti-immigrant.

And Democrats are pro-immigrant.

I can't say this is true from my experience.

In 2015, Obama denied my work permit application.

But in 2018, Trump granted me asylum and PR.

In 2024, Biden denied my initial citizenship application (because I did porno and didn't disclose in my application).

Yet in 2025, Trump let me be a citizen.

So how do you explain it?

I don't think Trump is anti-immigrant, he just follows the law. Period.

what makes you think Trump made him citizen?

asylum seekers applications most likely in advance stage of approval.

tak sempat reject.

What's your point? Alvin was granted asylum in 2018, not 2020.

I don't think he would want this out in public, but f*ck it...

The truth is he applied for Swedish citizenship 4 years earlier.

He got asylum and PR much faster than me, but somehow his citizenship application just got stuck.

According to him, the current Swedish government is actually very anti-immigrant and moving to aggressively limit the number of PRs naturalizing into Swedish citizens.

So he probably has hit a quota wall, and the backlog will only grow from now.

He has no criminal history in Sweden, so that's not an issue.

That said, he has been traveling quite a bit (if you follow his Facebook), for example recently he went to Indonesia.

He travels using a UN-recognized Refugee Travel Document.

I could have done the same too before this, but I didn't want to risk being unable to re-enter the US.

So yeah, he hasn't been denied or anything -- his application is just stuck in limbo.

Hell, my own citizenship application was stuck in limbo for a while too, but luckily there are laws in the US that said that immigration cannot sit on an application forever, otherwise they have the right to sue.

I sued US immigration in court and won, and thus they had to make a decision on my case and ultimately approved me.

These are all things behind the scenes that people won't know about, people only see the final result and think that it's smooth-sailing and easy -- not true!

Ya I did follow him on facebook. He went on enjoy his moment in Indonesia.

He's probably choosing the wrong country, for asylum, as it seems. Though we can't really blame Sweden for that, due to middle eastern asylum seekers keep causing problems in Sweden.

I think his "name" probably has something to do with it.

Why don't he change his "name"?

Can he change his "name"?

Ah I see, answer is down here.

Yeah, it really doesn't help that the Arabs and Africans behave like f*cking apes in Scandinavia.

And Ali Abd Jalil, while not an Arab, has an Arab name, so he'll be tarred with the same brush and lumped with the same group of trouble-makers.

We'd like to think there's no profiling and such, but there is, even in Sweden.

If his name is Michael Johnson, he would have been approved a long time already.
Free healthcare and education and affordable housing (he lives almost an hour away from Stockholm).

He's fluent in Swedish and enjoys his work.

Unfortunately he really wants to have a wife and children, but he simply couldn't find a partner.

He dated a Swedish girl for a few months, but the cultural differences were really too jarring.

She was uncomfortable to even appear on his FB.
