Btw, I'm using Nikon D80!

Below pictures are taken with Nikkor AI-S 200mm f/4.
No editing was done except for resizing.

The cactus, I'd have cloned out the vertical beams. And a little shadow/highlight would bring out more detail from the shadow.

The Nike... not really an interesting subject IMHO.

For the first picture, try to recompose by taking in more of the cactus pot but less of the beams. Need more detail and lighting on the cactus.

Second picture's sharpness and detail on the Nike logo is good but the whole subject is not that interesting.

The cactus shot is now much better. More interesting and with a story to tell.

However, a sandal is still a sandal. Nothing to shout about.

I can, but wont be as sharp as this one coz I just sold the legendary sharp Nikkor AI-S 200mm f/4.0 lens. Some more the shot is just a try-out using the lens. I could try to clone all those out using PS!

Wow, you are really good at photoshop. I try cloning them out, but after cloning, that part looks odd, so I end up leaving them there!

for those who wondered how i did it, it's just a matter of duplicating similar patterns parts of the photo and covering those ladies.
