For the first picture, try to recompose by taking in more of the cactus pot but less of the beams. Need more detail and lighting on the cactus.

Second picture's sharpness and detail on the Nike logo is good but the whole subject is not that interesting.

However, a sandal is still a sandal. Nothing to shout about.
