QUOTE(LonelyHart16 @ Mar 5 2025, 12:27 PM) https://www.u.com.my/en/personal/mobile-plans/borneo#prepaidRM15 only? Can use in West Malaysia ka? Also the 5G/4G quota no speed limit ka? Is it good or slow and bad coverage? Anyone tried? Yes. Yes. Not sure, I didn't notice any speed cap. Am trying now, so far I can confirm slightly poorer coverage than M and CD in Penang island. QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Mar 5 2025, 12:29 PM) heard someone said if outside only 10gb. The info is in the FAQs and in the T&Cs.

QUOTE(Piers @ Mar 5 2025, 12:54 PM) nice, just activate a U Borneo plan last night for testing. their app is easy to use for port in esim too 👍 The hotlink sabah plan offers more data if you're out of the state - 60GB & unlimited local calls for RM20 (RM18 with cashback voucher). But, registration has to be done with a sabah dealer and I couldn't find any esim option.

QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Mar 5 2025, 02:48 PM) yes I am having this plan its consider the best and btw 60gb is 4G not 5G Outside Sabah, the 60GB is for both 4G and 5G. I’ve been using this plan for close to a year.

QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Mar 5 2025, 03:22 PM) Wow I use more than 1 year + Good on ya. I can definitely use 5g within that 60GB quota so maybe Hotlink is not so strict?

QUOTE(LonelyHart16 @ Mar 5 2025, 05:11 PM) Okey, very good information, thank you so much. If I port in from Postpaid digi number to prepaid uMobile, need change sim card right? Any phone shop will do or need visit Umobile center? I think can register for MNP online and get sim shipped to you.

QUOTE(LonelyHart16 @ Mar 5 2025, 11:11 PM) But I heard Umobile still got coverage issue ka? Signal not as good inside buildings or less city area? Weaker than CD and M in some locations I was at last week. Didn’t notice any big issues inside buildings other than in elevators where the other telcos lines were equally bad. Have not tested in rural locations. I rarely go to these places. The best way to know is to try it yourself. This post has been edited by kmrdeva: Mar 5 2025, 11:29 PM
