You mean order from Apple store itself? Of course can be trusted. Done it seversl times. Item always securely packaged

Went checking at Machines/UR in pyramid and seems like their preorder really still not updated for educational discount yet. So I decided to buy it through Apple store. Need to confirm this tho, if I'm getting the magic keyboard, I dont need to additionally get the smart folio right? because the keyboard itself will kinda act like the folio to protect the ipad? Or do I still need a folio for protecting the keyboard instead?

Sorry if question might sound dumb as this is first time I'm getting a tablet/ipad. Kinda need one to be used in the uni I recently enrolled to for reading online textbook and writing notes etc.

Yea the keyboard is also a casing. But heavy to bring around when you don’t need a keyboard though. I would buy a simple cheap folio case to complement the setup

When I choose the option of deliver, the ipad itself is 2 days later than the accessories. Can I set the delivery too all come at same day or they must be separated?

Maybe because shipped from different location. Apple product often times cone from Sg hub

wifey wants iPad Air to do office work, but don’t wanna MBA. so i said, must have good keyboard with trackpad, numpad would be better if deal with lots of numbers.

overall budget given by office is 3k.
need suggestion to buy iPad Air, with good keyboard, ⌨️ and other accessories? which would come in handy. office work mostly data analysis, data entry, slides, like that.

i think, good keyboard, folio, mouse, mousepad is minimum.

any keyboard that can turn most right side to numpad ? i remembered using onscreen numpad by way of somehow customization of the onscreen keyboard in settings.

Totally not suitable to do on iPad.
She will do until she vomit blood that I can guarantee u.

Just use the budget to buy a MacBook Air m4, she can use it for years and it is light enough to carry around.

i thought so too. I was doing office work on iPad Air previously, it can be done provided I did use it together with keyboard, trackpad, and mouse. onscreen numpad helps a bit too.

when I changed to MBA, the experience totally awesome. 🤩

It may look fancy, but ipad is a headache for real office works. I always go to macbook for work

I did try using ipad for words for a simple letter. I was struggling without the keyboard. It's not easy I can tell. Could be Ayam Noob. At last I uninstalled it.

Just ordered a 11” iPad Air M3
Gonna connect it to Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, and a USB C hub with HDMI and link it to the TV with extended function.

I was thinking Mini but that that’s 0 portability since no screen. I considered MacBook Air but I only need to use keyboard when I am hooked to TV — when I’m portable I don’t need keyboard. and the MBA costs more.

Hope I won’t be disappointed. Still amazes me it packs a M3 inside such a form factor with screen and battery.

depending on what u do actually. ultimately macbook air is macOS which more things can be done on it. and macbook air is heavier but in terms of a laptop it is still quite portable at 1.28kg.

if apple can re-release the previous 12-inch macbook and given that now has apple own silicon chip, i am sure they can make it super light that can fight with ipad air in terms of weight.

I used to have MBA 11". I felt the 12" generation Macbook, back then, had quite a weak sauce processor.. relatively. Maybe I was biased since I had the 11". Really loved it to bits, it was the laptop I carried everywhere.

Nah doing all web stuff - google docs, zoom, teams etc. M3 is more than enough. Currently cycle between a iPad 9th gen, MBP M3 16", MBA M1. Only take the MBP out for work. Rest of the time, MBA M1 is my handy go-to... the iPad being used less because never charge since its lightning..moved all my stuff to type C all over the house, only study room got lighting. And its starting to stutter playing YouTube if I have multiple tabs open.

That's why I figured the iPad Air M3 will suffice.. even M1 I am happy with its performance, still snappy. Lucky with my Apple ID the stuff is synced across my devices.

As said, it depends on ur use case.

12-inch MacBook last time has weak processor due to Intel chip. Now with M chip and totally fanless design, 12-inch MacBook can come back to fill in the gap and have even lower starting price than 13 inch MacBook Air.

Last time 11 MacBook Air is light but cannot beat the 12-MacBook in terms of the size and weight.

Hope it will come back one day.

I used to have it last time when it was first released but again due to the weak Intel processor I have to give it up one day.

It's.. nice, i know not heavier than normal iPad but feels, solid? Speakers are awesome, I am using 9th gen single speaker

Now.. external screen stage manager.. is buggy. when doing thing like getting Passwords to fill up the safari.. it requests for PIN.. but got bug it cannot get input from bluetooth keyboard, i think because it popup on the external screen..so its still.. very buggy for a Apple product

currently looking at iPad Air 13" M3 256GB , cheapest I found is RM3399 @ Switch. Apple website is RM4099 ...

Is this currently the best deal ? Any downside from buying from Switch ?
