The most logical reason would be trying to discourage customers . After all... KL land is getting scarce and there's no end to greed, Just look at how condos are built wih approval from authority without consideration impact to neighbouring residents.

Mati also all kind of fancy package..now dying is serious business..I think Chinese has the most expensive funeral services..To die at least need >20k..think Malay and Indian funeral did not change much in the last 30 years..price increased but process did not change much..

you reminded me of umrah scammers preying on religious people and their need to save $$$ for pilgrimage , to the extent of living a frugal life.

TBH, RM100 for all services is wayyyyy too cheap nowadays... including cremation and service hall.... gas, water, electric, workers etc.... all no need money meh... I think even RM1.3K also cheap...

try walk to Nirvana or Xiao En and ask them the 3 days package... from 30K onwards.... they come to your house for the service already from 20K onwards...
