the only issue that stopped me from switching is that maxis technicians sometimes need to wait for Unifi technician to rectify the issues. haha

TM router setup is the easiest and very straight forward , compared to maxis or time ( need to call helpline to change to ap mode )all you need is your user id and password, in case u cannot access your router , just contact TM helpline, they will give u back dont worry others wont be bothered to steal your credentials this setup similar even on other routers This post has been edited by JimbeamofNRT: Apr 23 2025, 12:55 PM -PuPu^ZaPruD3r- liked this post

i would suggest maxis
same like u from TIME>Unifi>Maxis overall less headache with Maxis.. TIME the best experienced i had. Unifi is the worst high ping, high packet loss report was made and the issue only solve a few days then it happen again Maxis stable ping and packet loss + zerolution package is a win for me |

QUOTE(Pepelepewwwww @ Mar 3 2025, 11:59 AM) If for maxis i change router will it be better than Unifi? Currently using maxis but thinking of switching to unifi Most of the time I think many subscribers suffer these in silent, but dont know what to do random disconnects unstable connections some of them dont even know their own user id and password, dunno how to access the url, how to change the pwd, how to change router no thanks to telco that keep giving free sampah router which will degrade fast within a year ngam ngam warranty finish. why cant they sell better router like what they do with hp? educate lah your subscribers. real pndk these telco. unifi, maxis, time , all the same. real hkc. In condo last time using TIME 500mb/s Now in new house using unifi 500mb/s too but alot of different. I just notice both package download speed the same but upload speed TIME remain at 500mb/s while unifi at 100mb/s. No choice as I realize it after sign 2 years contract. Unifi overall OK but need to change the router. Currently running with Orbi, stable no issue. |

TM
Pro - if hardware/fibre issue usually they will come fix within 24 hours. Con - Basically unusable between 8pm - 1am daily. Maxis Pro - Even if using Maxis on TM infra, way better international peering and bandwidth throughput the day. Con - if outside fibre problem, turnaround will be longer if your Maxis is riding on TM infra, because Maxis and TM will waste time ding-dong each other before resolution.
