No problem. I have a HK PS3 right now. The voltage plug works fine. About the warranty. I am not sure. Why not get one in Singapore. Would be nearer and easier to claim your warranty if anything happens.

tax...always must remember that bloody tax...

damn tax....damn damn damn tax...

anyway....careful of th customs imposed on the PS3...or you could declare it as a PC part...which theoritically is correct since the PS3 has USB ports for printers..

Nah Malaysian customs will not tax computer parts/stuff..it happen to me once when i brought my Graphic Card from US..
They call me out that they say that they gonna quarantine the graphic card for tax but when they find out that it is computer parts
they let it go... biggrin.gif

u will be surprised of what they know... wink.gif they can differentiate a PS2 and a PS3 and they know how much a PS3 cost here....

cos my ps3 was held by custom and I needed to pay 15%tax(after sales tax) and 10%(import tax) or was it the other way round...

I think that if you declare it as a gift, the custom won't be able to tax you?

Technically, a gift is something you accept for free from someone. And I don't think so they will take the trouble to check whether you are telling the truth or not? hmm.gif

I bought my MGS 20th Anniversary pack back in August from YesAsia. They declare it as a gift and I was not required to pay any tax when I went over to collect my package.

my point is it depends on ur luck...sometimes even if u dont declare it as gift and above RM500, they stil will not tax u...while some other times they tax u even if its declared as gift or even tax u RM60 for 2BD discs(although its oli about USD30++) sweat.gif
