What if u only have rm3 mil, u retire at 55, continue to live until 105? Then rm3 mil, even if invested, is too little.

I know a relative kena cancer, every month spent RM 25k till the end.

Private care givervwas rm6.5k per month, drugs like rm10k per month. Other small small thing ++ estimated 25k total.

How about wait till 99 y.o kena, then u will really feel that RM3 mil is never enough / is uncertain.

Or retire 55, 60 kena cancer, then u will also feel that RM3 mil is very little.

If lets say, u can guarantee, no issues, simply fall asleep one day and die, nvm, save money.

I think if everyone put 50% of monthly income into QQQ until retire, most people can have more than RM 3M.

Not enough if got health problem. I saw before, people kena cancer spent RM 1m to stay alive for 3 years. So if we assume that the retirement portfolio is only RM3m, it feels uncertain.
Therefore, the target should be more than just 3m.

How to do it? Must always have the mindset that we can earn other people's money, but we don't let other people earn our money.

Stage 4 adenocarcinoma of lung. Lasted 3 years.
If no cancer / no weird disease then 3m is ok ok la.
