When you're used to 100W suddenly iPhone charging speed feels too slow. Unfun to use. Wait wait waiting & still not finish charging
*
Yes i can feel that too, as my honor 90 5g takes only 50 mins charging time from 0 to 100 meanwhile my iphone 16 pro max takes around 2 hours 20 mins charging time from 0 to 100

But im fine with it cuz usually i will charge both of my phones before bedtime, so i wont feel the difference

As i knew iphone not all about super fast charging, so i just fine with any type of charging speed, most importantly the specifications and features of the phone itself πŸ“±πŸ’–πŸ”₯

Definitely totally right bro.
That means I still need to use Android to enjoy the 100 W fast charging speed cos Apple refuse to do it but I was thinking maybe iPhone 17 will have faster charging.
*
Yes, use Android if you must. All this while only China phone keep experimenting with faster and faster charging. If technology allow them, I'm sure they will go for 1 minute to have 100% charge.
Likewise, it took a while for Wireless charging to appear in iPhone.
QUOTE(chongkiatz @ Jun 13 2025, 08:50 AM)
If u talk about different UI then its okey , but gesture is about convenience, improving over the time will make the user feel more flexible , it is a good thing to improve , at least for me. Just like the Number Row on Apple Keyboard, its not hard to give convenience to user to have it , maybe apple just recent figure out "windows vista" UI which mean they stil staying on 2007 , stil cant figure out how to add a number ROW on top of the keyboard πŸ˜…

Apple is famous to make a thing more simple and convenient right , i dont see this two thing actually add burden to user πŸ˜‰
*
I think they will improve it over the time, definitely not so fast by just copying Android gesture.

Actually company and citizen should put the "copy" aside and stop the argument , who copy who doesn't matter , at the end consumer win 😍 , but u know i know, keyboard warrior and toxic warrior is all over in the social media 🀦

When you're at 100W is very difficult to adjust to iPhone charging speed which IMHO takes an incredible long time to finish charging

If tomorrow China Android release a Fon that really can charge to 100% in 1 minutes like you said, I will be the first one to buy it ASAP in this solar system.

Actually the most balance fast charging technology currently with single-cell high capacity silicone battery was 80-90w with 40-60w wireless charge.

Anything above 100w such as 120w 145w 240w for big capacity battery request dual-cell battery , the downside of dual-cell battery is the battery health will drop badly , easily drop 3-5% per year for light use and 8-10% for heavy use , that is what myself experience with dual-cell 120watt fast charging battery.

But the good thing is ...China Rom able to let u choose to toggle the full speed of fast charge if u needed , or toggle off if u dont need , which i think is a win win situation , at least there is an option , they dont force u must die die use full speed if u dont wish to.

This my very heavily gaming usage after 468 day dual-cell battery with 5160mAh capacity, it now left 89% battery health which I think fair enough for my super heavy usage , it was most 2-3 full charge per day , after it drop below 80% , i just send to the center to change the original battery which cost me only rm120 included labor πŸ˜‚ cheap2 only πŸ˜‚

I have a realme GT Neo 5 240W with a 240W charger, cun cun 2 years the 240W charger spoiled cos the voltage & Watt is too high plus heat causing the charger to spoiled fast. Meanwhile my 100W still surviving & alive even though I charge my Fon several times a day with it.

Conclusion 240W is very syok fun fast but spoiled faster than 100W which is longevity

I'm using beasus 65w adapter and beasus 240w usb c cable at home 😈

I'm not worry at all cuz iphones battery management system will automatically stop charging when the battery reaches 100%, preventing overcharging, charging resumes automatically if your battery level drops below 95 per cent according to apple support 😎

Dunno cos I keep charging it once the battery drop below 90% cos the 16e charging is very very slow. Once I used the battery till 10% need around 1.5hours to fully get back to 100%. RM 2999 Fon with a 1.5 hours charging speed, even my cheap realme have 100W. Better not keep saying later kena label as spreading negativity lolol
