actually as long as u download from official APK , no matter android or iOS , u are safer , iOS seen safer because it can't be install 3rd party APK which android when u installing 3rd party APK , there is notification or warning pages came out , so if the user die die want to install , that mean the user have to bear the risk

android user with official APK is as safe as iOS user , there is nothing iOS more safer than android , its all about user error / greedy

that is "LAST TIME" my friend , as long as you download any apps thru playstore is safer for now 2025 , really rarely heard about phone get hacked by official APK , Yes android is open source compared to iOS which android will be more easier to attack, but android do actually improving alot thru the year , most of the time 99% people phone get hacked is they download from 3rd party APK thru whatsapp , scammer link , or email link.

Not sure which android u using but at least my android phone that i bought from 2023 already have a auto Security Scan on it and it do regularly monitor my apps and phone

If u coming from at least the 2022 onward year of android phone , u will really feel the gesture on android is SUPER and the iphone gesture is a joke , by the way i wont bash so hard on which OS good bad , because both have their own pros & cons , i'm kind on the middle man , i'm more to respect which company can created new technology & innovation of future rather than keep on recycling the technology every year , but if talking about gesture , android WIN hand down , android is more to human logic natural way to use the phone , iphone is kind that u need sometime to learn how to go Back or find the "X" icons. But once u use for a period then u will get used to it.

So when u talking about apps optimization , apple really done a great job , due to they only have one model vs android (thousand of model)

Dont worry about Bank Apps bro , nowaday most of the bank apps in malaysia already upgraded to Digital Token , Secure2u , PB Secure Sign , UOB One Time Access and more , hacker can only hack your phone that have approved the permission such as "SMS , CAMERA , LOCATION" (ini pun because your hand gatal go simply install 3rd party APK) , last time bank account transfer using SMS TAC number , so when hacker success to hack your phone , they can obtain your TAC number thru your SMS , but now u have to "APPROVE" the transaction thru the apps which hacker not able to do it for now.

Stop the mind kind of "iOS safer for bank apps" in 2025 , most of the time user get hacked is thru 3rd party apps / sms link / whatsapp apk / website link / email link , in these technology day , we have to learn how to protect ourself , must understand what should do what shouldnt do , give more awareness information to our elder parent, to our family , if there is new way of scammer / hacker , share among to our family on time.

Just look at social media nowaday , how many internet influencer using iphone also get hacked , IG/FB/Whatsapp/Telegram get hacked and u telling me iphone iOS is safe? sometime it's about the user rather than the OS itself (99% user human error vs the 0.1% OS itself)

The Necro Trojan which they found on Wuta camera have been solved very quickly and they push the next update to remove it , other than that there is few apps effected which is most those MOD apps that they downloaded from unofficial web such as the Spotify PLUS plugin MOD and Whatsapp plugin MOD and it's not what official and been mod by user.


I mean just use the way you use on your iOS same the way u use with android , then both wont really bring problem to you ,unless your hand gatal go option for any MOD apk.

Elder will install spotify MOD plugin , whatsapp MOD plugin or any MOD APK? Serious , my elder parent using android for over 7 year without any problem , just educate them well and let them know what can do what can't do , once received any SMS , Whatsapp chat with LINK , screenshot and let us know before u want to proceed , and elder parent want to install any apps , they normally will request son/daugther to done for them , that because the apps need to do some registration and login which they dont know most , now my parent will just call me and let me know there is some SMS from bank and what should they do the next before they actually do anything.

And the end it stil come down to the personal who use and how they use the tools. From my own personal experience , most of the time elder get scam by the Phone call or any web that asking them to filled up their Personal detail such as bank account , debit credit card more than those malware attack thru the apps. Ter-download the APK , allow the permission , then start to do some filling information , then your bank money gone , its not like u download the APK then ur bank money directly gone without go to the next step

For android phone , i think it wont like iOS that will prompt you to keyin your password when you download new apps , but if to purchase Apps , then u can set biometric.

On my android , if i wanna avoid other or for my kid to simply open my working or personal apps , i always set Finger Print or Face Unlock on it , been using this feature for long time ago and i know iOS 18 just release it for Lock apps with Face ID , my eWallet , banking , Email , SMS apps all locked with Face Unlock + Biometric , so if i accidentally unlock my phone and pass to my friend or i lost it while i unlock my phone , the thief wont be able to open all my important apps , so basically if hacker hacked my phone , i not sure they can bypass my biometric to open those apps or my SMS to read , i hope it wont

Yup , i think for elder , the bigger the better , i16plus they will use more comfortable for reading and view , that also the reason why china so aggressively coming with fold or tri-fold phone , alot ppl younger laugh at the tri-fold because it just look like gimmick with 3 screen , but they never think that 1 day we will get older , our eyes will be degrade , so fold / tri-fold will be our future gadget that can fit into our pocket with big screen rather than tablet

ipad cant fit into pocket and hard to carry around , tablet stil tablet , can't compete the size with the phone , unless u looking for foldable phone

yes i know , but it stil can't replace the phone itself , elder doesnt like too much gadget , possible they just want 1 in all device , no need charge this and charge that , if buying ipad mini just to be use at home , actually while u at home , why not just watch from 60' smart TV or TV BOX rather than watch on the tiny ipad mini , and to bring out ipad mini around and have to carry another phone out , that make they need to carry 2 device at once not making sense , either go for big screen phone at least 6.7 , or a fold phone for the them.


What elder aim?

Large screen - easy to view & most important is facetime , imagine facetime on 6.1' iphone 16E lol , that suck really.
Good battery life - without gaming , easily fit them for whole day use especially iphone 16plus with bigger battery , no need keep find power source to charge especially when they go travel around and taking ALOT of video and picture


Anyphone will do as long as meet this 2 criteria , other than that , elder doesnt need fancy fancy AI feature
