is this a bug in TnG? since gmail said dot doesnt matter in their system, means they
will only reconized abcdef@gmail, cannot open other abc.def@gmail etc.
while TnG accepted and open a account under abc.def@gmail, which can be a problem.

How about double confirming if now abcdef@gmail.com is registered to another tng and abc.def@gmail.com is registered to your tng?

Meaning ask tng if both email address have been verified with tng?
If yes, show that both tng email notification is going to you and unverified both of you and ask tng to redo email verification.

this way you can get rid of the other email notification.

Or worst case, you change your email address or set gmail rule.
If email to abcdef@gmail.com, all set to a specific folder. Means you only get email for abc.def@gmail.com

TNG has confirmed its two different accounts. whether the other account is verified, that part i cant be sure.

cant set gmail rule as gmail doesnt care about the dots.

I checked the app and the email has a separate entry to verify. I have verified all my details, so I cannot try, but could you still use the app with only the phone number verified and not the email? That would explain what TS is getting - the app is sending emails and SMS to the registered info, but that user is using the SMS as their alert, without realizing the emails are not going to them.
