fate is like opportunity, once you missed it, you will have to look out for another one

so what's your concern here? are you afraid that you have missed the boat and the remaining of your life is going to be miserable ?

My belief is that how we meet and begin with someone may be fated or orchestrated by God/the universe, but how we continue or end with someone is influenced by the choices we make as individuals and partners.

I came to this conclusion based on my experiences with men, how they felt/thought, and how we viewed our relationships.

if you believed that most things could be out of your control, then you would never bother to start making a call and just let things happen completely. That can be low self esteem issue because of those stories you kept telling yourself

Drama or movie, isn’t it always based on the best-case scenario? How many of the mortals can walk the best-case scenario?

Even if it is fated, will the eye of the mortal be able to distinguish the work of fate or the effort of free will? For most of the cases, the mortals don’t even know how to read the “fate”. The balance who notices it - half of them are so infatuated with the fate but in reality it is limerence in disguise. The remaining of them, to be able to distinguish and successfully build the relationship, was it the fate or the effort of free will? Sounds like there is room for doubt, isn’t it?

The public often quotes “the success is when the opportunity meets the well-prepared mind with the action taken”. Why is the definition of success in investment , in the career, or in business opportunities, the mortals are able to distinguish it but when it comes to relationships, the mortals are caged with a different set of mindsets ? Funny, isn’t it? Isn’t it just another repeated pattern ?

If the same analogy(investments) is being adopted :-

1. Cannot identify fate (opportunity) + no capital = missed out
2. Cannot identify fate (opportunity) + with capital = missed out ( got resources without opportunity)
3. Able to identify fate (opportunity) + with no capital = missed out ( can see but not well prepared)
4. Able to identify fate + with capital but take no action = missed out, fate just waves & passes through 🤪
5. Able to identify fate + capital(well prepared )+ action taken = ride on success.

In investment, opportunities keep coming but do you have the abilities to distinguish it with your eyes? If the same analogy were to be adopted , your potential candidates will keep coming but are you well prepared to seize the opportunity?

The only incident, where you can fully eliminate all the possibilities & narrow it down to the doing of “fate” , is when you have taken all the precautions to prevent the incident from happening, yet it is still happening, then you can say it is the doing of “fate” 100%.

Just accompany you to blow some water. Please don’t take the opinion too seriously. Maybe I’m wrong or maybe I’m correct. I don’t think anyone have the absolute answer.

Believe what you want to believe, as long as you are happy. Life is too short to doubt.

Hi

Fate...mostly involved God.

If you believe in God, then you will accept whatever the outcome is.

If everything is fated then no point living since nothing you do changes anything. Which is false.

The term you’re looking for is not fate

It’s called luck

Luck is a multiplier
If you no luck, you do 110% effort
It’ll be 110% * 0 =0

If you lucky, right place right time
10% effort * 2000 luck = 20000% success rate

Example of luck is.. look in the mirror.. you handsome then that’s lucky lor. You taller than average at 6 feet, you lucky lor

If a midget got lucky and managed to bang your mother, then you unlucky lo, become midget.

You make your own destiny.

It's always just people who really are not aware about themselves that blames it on others, or faith, that there is something mystical about the world.

We do not know how our future unfolds, but we do our best to reach that designation we want. biggrin.gif

There's a story of a man stuck on the roof of his house due to a flood.

He prayed to God for help, and a group of survivors on a raft came by and offered him help. He refused, God will save him.
Then a rescue boat came by, and offered to rescue him. He refused, God will save him.
Then a rescue helicopter flew by and offered to rescue him. He refused, God will save him.

He died of starvation, and when he came up to God he asked "I prayed, why didn't you save me?". God replied, "I sent a raft, boat and helicopter and you refused them all!"

So how does story change your view on fate?

Both hollywood and kdrama lied to you. You believe those romanticized shit they feed you.
Dating scene has become toxic due to the hookup culture and female expectations.
Dating is like a power struggle dynamics. It establishes who has the position of power in the relationship and who will be the submitter.
