if you're in KK, i think it is worth to visit the Kampung Air's food court, somewhat hidden between the blocks. My favorite is 'Hua Hing Seafood', .. find a table inside the shop as there'll be a service charge at the open area. you'll save few bucks. So far, the shop is way cheaper than any in Sandakan or Sabindo in Tawau.

It's somewhere less than 10 minutes walking from Sedco's Complex or Winner Hotel.

ah, been to sabah at those dates this year .. do bring along some raincoat ya as the chances of monsoon rain is quite high .. when it rains, you hardly move about .. even those Filipino / Souvenir market will be flooded ..
