As the world's biggest and richest club, Manchester United reach a global fanbase.

Part of the attraction for fans around the world has been the football luminaries, such as George Best and Sir Bobby Charlton, who have graced the Old Trafford turf in a Manchester United shirt over the years.

Recently, Manchester United have continued to attract or develop some of the game's biggest names, with England stalwarts such as Paul Scholes and David Beckham having been regular fixtures in the Reds line-up.

The Manchester United team, past and present, reads like a who's who of world football.

It is only fitting that a great team should grace a great stadium. And with Old Trafford's recent development and the closure of Wembley, the ground is easily the largest in English football, holding in excess of 60,000 fans.

Despite this capacity, the demand to see United in action is so great that tickets are hard to come by.

But it isn't only Manchester United fans who flock to Old Trafford. The standard of the ground is such that it regularly hosts high-profile games, most notably, the Champions League Final and Great Britain rugby league games.

Rock fans have also made use of the Reds's facilities, watching a number of high-profile acts at the ground.

But it's football that will forever be synonymous with the Reds famous ground - and with good reason.

The last decade has seen Manchester United under the shrewd leadership of Sir Alex Ferguson maintain a virtual stranglehold on the Premiership crown.

Manchester United has won the league no fewer than 18 times in their history. They are also Cup Kings too, winning the FA cup 11 times, the league cup 4 times, as well as winning the European Super Cup, European Cup Winner's Cup, and 3 times being crowned European Cup champions.

Manchester United has long become a name associated with success both on and off the pitch.

As club profits continue to grow, Manchester United have become one of the richest sports clubs on the planet.

With supporters club branches on every continent, it's hard to go any where in the world and not see somebody wearing the famous red shirt of Manchester United.

QUOTE(zenix @ Nov 24 2009, 09:18 PM)
Hope Alien will sticky this info later.
Though written in 2006 so no Roy Keane yet.

Ex-United players that have moved on to become managers.

Written by Simon Stone (MARCH 22, 2006)

STEVE BRUCE (1987-1996): Took his first steps in management with Sheffield United in 1998, then swiftly moved on to Huddersfield, Wigan and Crystal Palace. Left Selhurst Park in acrimonious fashion after Birmingham targeted him as the replacement for Trevor Francis in 1991. Took Blues into the Premier League but after a heavy FA Cup defeat is struggling to keep his job.

MARTIN POWELL (1971-1983): Stylish and well-respected Scotland centre-half whose authoritative nature appeared to make him a natural for the management game. Lasted four months at Burnley.

SIR BOBBY CHARLTON (1956-1973): Arguably the finest English player of all time proved to be an unmitigated disaster as a manager. Claimed he was not given the resources to make a decent job of it at Preston but was never lured back into management following his departure after a single season.

STEVE COPPELL (1975-1983): After a knee injury cut his playing career short at just 28, Coppell turned his attention to management. Steered Crystal Palace into the FA Cup final and then third place in the old First Division - the Eagles' highest ever - the following season. It was the first of four stints in charge at Selhurst Park in a career which has seen him move to Manchester City (for only six games), Brentford and Brighton. Now at Reading and about to steer the Royals into the top flight for the first time.

PADDY CRERAND (1962-1971): A key figure in United's 1968 European Cup triumph, Crerand lasted five months at Northampton before getting the bullet and, like Charlton, never managed again.

MARK HUGHES (1983-86, 1988-95): Hughes was never tipped as a manager by Ferguson but has taken to the game with ease. Took Wales into the Euro 2004 play-offs. Took over at Blackburn shortly afterwards, steering Rovers away from danger in his first season. Currently in contention for a Champions League spot.

BRIAN KIDD (1967-1974): Another European Cup winner who proved to be a poor manager. Got itchy feet in 1998 after spending seven years as Sir Alex Ferguson's highly-rated assistant. Took command at Blackburn but dismissed six months later.

BRYAN ROBSON (1981-94): United's inspirational leader under Ron Atkinson and Ferguson. There are two schools of thought on his stint at Middlesbrough - he either spent lots and achieved little (relegation and two losing finals) or he laid the platform for the Teessiders to become an established Premiership outfit. Kept West Brom up in extraordinary fashion last year but back in trouble again this season.

GORDON STRACHAN (1984-89): Scotland international who won the FA Cup with United and the title of the pre-Premiership era with Leeds. Sacked after five years at when the Sky Blues lost top-flight status, then enjoyed success at Southampton - reaching the 2003 Cup final - before resigning to spend more time with his family. Now at Celtic, has recovered from a humiliating Champions League exit to Artmedia Bratislava, and, after winning his first trophy on Sunday in the CIS Insurance Cup, is set to clinch the Scottish Premier League.

NOBBY STILES (1960-71): Along with Charlton, one of only two Englishmen to have won the World Cup and European Cup, he replaced his former England and United team-mate at Preston, with limited success. After a brief stint in Vancouver, returned to England to take over as manager of West Brom. Sacked after five months, having gained just three wins.

🚨 Following Harry Maguire’s revival, Manchester United will look at signing a younger centre-back with potential rather than pay big money for a ready-made replacement like Jarrad Branthwaite. #MUFC ChrisWheelerDM, @NathSalt1

🚨 JUST IN: In reference to recent reports suggesting Manchester United are targeting a younger centre back with potential. There has been long standing interest in Ousmane Diomande, who worked under Ruben Amorim at Sporting. #mufc DylanMcbennett7

🚨 JUST IN: #mufc club sources have indicated that the speculation about Alejandro Garnacho to Napoli is agent-driven and the club are unlikely to entertain offers for the player this month unless an exceptionally high bid comes in. ChrisWheelerDM, @NathSalt1

🚨Manchester United see Nene Dorgeles as replacement for Marcus Rashford.

Christopher Vivell it's all over this deal and is pushing United board to finalize it. #MUFC [SABC-SPORT]

“ But Amorim knows United cannot play like they did at the Emirates every week, as he alluded to when discussing Maguire’s aerial dominance. “In the future, he will have more space to cover because we will not play with four in the back, we will play with three in the back. But in this moment you can see we are defending more low. Arsenal did a lot of crosses, with Harry we control that area.”

Amorim would like United to build up with a genuine three at the back, rather than the four it has been when protection is the first priority.”

Meaning we cannot always play the way we played against Arsenal or Pool

For youngster who wanted to improve their pay, the benchmark should be at Amad’s 120k

Mainoo, Garnacho and others who want to improve their contract, should just evaluate their performance vs Amad

And the board need to use his benchmark to give new contract to any youngster like Mainoo or Garnacho. These 2 players don’t deserved anything more than Amad’s 120k contract

Garnacho needs to stay on the group. He thinks he's Ronaldo or trying to be like him too much. Realistically he's not even half of what Ronaldo is. Can't believe someone who looked up to Ronaldo can't even improve themselves.

If they demand high pay, rather let them go. Because no point anyway, usually sign new contract with high pay, their performance will turns to shit anyway.

If Napoli really comes with 50M bid, I will let him go
For me he doesn’t worth 50M, if he is from Southampton, max he will be sell for 30M

Yoro nearly start 5 lose 5 games. Finally break the duck. But he really sux. Kena bully by solimara whole night.

Antony is also poor. But somehow Amad shine brighter whenever he is on the team.

Zirkee link up really good. If only he can play that well when start.

Conclusion Amad save Amorim ass alot of times this season. But to Amorim credit, he starts him. Eth no plays him, trust Rashy, kena fired.

Didn't watch the the last game, midnight morning.
Need to work.

Watched the highlight, the problem is still huge, as we are unable to control the game even against bottom team.

Just wonder if our scout can pick some talents from Southampton when they relegated in end of the season.

Sulemana seems good, Yoro unable to cope at all.
Not sure if it is Yoro issue or not.

Update: It seems it is Yoro issue rather than Sulemana is good.

I think Zirkzee got room to improve and adapt more. The first goal from Amad was really important to bring back the confidence. Great individual brilliance from Amad once again. New contract, hattrick as a return. Well worth it!

Zirkzee is the temu version of Berbatov. He started to run more now, hopefully he can starts against Brighton

For Amad, let’s just build the team around him, not Bruno anymore. Whenever Zirkzee and even Anthony playing, Amad somehow will score or the attack looks dangerous, with Hojlund, somehow something are missing

Yoro really a disaster whenever he starts, he doesn’t have the pace which reminds me of Varane but still very very very raw, he paid so many lessons already and hopefully he can adapt it quickly.

Based on the post match comments & post in fb and x, it seems like the issue is Ugarte + Mainoo partnership again.

I already keep saying, I do not like this partnership at all.
In Arsenal match, it seems they finally found the key.
Yet ... it is just 1 good match vs 5 bad match.

There’s always plan b to move Bruno to the middle partner with Ugarte.

Amorim doesn’t prefer both defensive type dm, he always prefers one is pure defensive, the other one push the ball forward and connect with the front 3

For me he is worst than Lukaku

His touches, his vision quite poor…. Inside the box, he is average, he is like Temu version of Chicarito, Chicarito scoring ability was a level above Hojlund

Zirkzee on the other hand is Temu version of Berbatov but lacking the goal scoring instinct

I tot i was gonna get blasted for saying we sucked for 80mins straight against the bottom team in EPL. Like looking for the cloud in the sunshine or whatever. But nevermind, I have half a day already and I stand by it. We look like sh!t all over the pitch. Until Amad of course gave us the spark. Silver lining or dark cloud whatever, we used to have a guy called Januzaj and he apparently was the Giggs incarnate.

I think Amad is really on form and it can help us stay in the league.

Without a striker who is scoring though, we will just be more or less where we are. Forever. Let that stick on the wall for a while. And without a solution to our defensive woes, be it runners coming through the middle and the bloody corners…it will be always bottom half.

It’s a major pain to not have your 350k per week top player start. If his name is Rash it’s worse because he does not deserve to.

In a normal team if your 350k striker is not starting that means your no.2 is doing so super well and knocked him off the starting 11. Ie performing at 450k. In our case we are Robin Hood, take 350k give to an academy guy and let him feed the poor and enjoy NBA games. Meanwhile we simply go rob some mid table Italian team and pay them riches for anyone who can pretend to do the job. Preferably young so that we can say he is learning mah. Well done. Robin Hood 3x.
All the while we can use this 350k wisely and ACTUALLY hire a proper player. Far be it from MUFC to do that.

Ya, Hojlund atm just not good enough. His form is really like league 2 striker. People talking about not enough supply for him, but his overall contribution is just not there. He's already with us for almost 2 seasons but he looks like he just join us in January. With that price tag, he is no better than Zirkee. If we want to improve, then we need a proven goal scorer. We made a mistake of not trying to get Harry Kane.

Amorim said to expect a rollercoaster ride this season. and he said Hojlund's scoring problem is a team problem.👍

My expectations and criticisms are the same as when ETH was around. It's the same team with the same players.👌

Lukaku stint at United IMO pretty underrated. Hojlund just doesnt get into dangerous spaces much (neither do most of our attackers), most of the games you see him shielding against opponent CBs.

Zirkzee came in and makes thing smooth. He did a lot of one two passes and layoff which makes transition to attack looks smoother than have Hojlund in the team.

Hojlund can’t even have any advantages against Southampton defenders who were championship level only, which including header where he totally owned by Southampton defense. He only got like 16% vs Zirkzee getting 60%+. He also lost so many possession when the ball is with him vs Zirkzee.

When you have a striker who always lose possession, header also lost, poor ball control, can’t do 1,2 with teammates, doesn’t know how to body block and etc, these make the attack always tak jadi and easily drain out team stamina cuz once lose possession, the rest of the teammates have to run back and get back the ball

Antony is leaving on loan, I am not even sure if this is a good idea.

Yes, he is not good enough, but Amad performs better when Antony is on the pitch.
If Antony leave and no replacement, we seriously will fight for relegation.

Same applied to Ganarcho, I really dunno why the club is even willing to deal with Napoli for Ganarcho for now.
Some fans think we should sell him, ok fine but selling at this moment? Seriously?

Only less than 10 days to find a replacement.
For price tag 60M? If 80M can consider, but 60M?
Can't believe some moron will think that it is good idea at all.

The club really think no other club will offer price more than 60M for him in summer?
The whole thing is moron till the max.
The club and those moron fans who advocate to sell him at this moment.

We were playing the LAST TEAM (no.20) in the entire league, at HOME and we made them look good. Let that sink in for a while and then imagine we have to do this for about 38 matches a season.

No matter how good Amad is or was, we are not going to progress if the rest of the 11 is like this. Anyway this season is confirm write off, so we just need to survive the season and hope against hope that Amad does not get injured.

Before Onana made that howler, there were still 0.3% we can still get a draw.
After 1-3, it was basically game over.

Not blaming game, but fact.
Onana this season has been back to his first half season joined us.

Never expected I will say this, but even Onana, a goalkeeper position, is not fit into this 5 defenders formation.

Onana biggest strength is to act as the 5th defender in a 4 defenders formation, come out and take the ball.
But with a natural 5 defenders formation, he never come out anymore, his strength has been seriously hindered.

It seems like De Gea is more fit into this 5 defenders formation, ironically. A goalkeeper that only need to block shots and make saves.
I simply can see we are going to sell Onana soon or later.

We can’t beat Brighton
Don’t think we can beat Fulham next

2 games per week is a big disadvantage for us, we basically played well when vs Pool and Arsenal when we only play 1 game per week

With Europa league back, and we keep on using Bruno, who this game back to his own self again. We certainly don’t have the depth for 2 games per week now

The issue with Onana (actually almost all the players for that matter) is consistency, he can god-like for few matches then suddenly butter finger...

Bayendir can only judged on one or two matches, even he also have the same issue, but of coz due to his limited time on the match probably still acceptable...

One of the thing we lack right now really is consistency...

i think to get drastic change, the team needs to be relegated. then do wholesale and start from scratch. thennn you can play 343.

Antony is the closest, on the cusp of leaving to Betis after turning down moves to Greece and elsewhere.

Casemiro has not had solid offers or interest presented to him despite incorrect reports of imminent Saudi bids. There is some interest, potentially from the US, but nothing of serious substance yet.

Rashford and his camp and working on a few potential options, but clubs need to present slightly more serious offers than paying 75-100k on wages as well or it doesn’t do much regardless. Barcelona would be his preference as they work to make space.

Garnacho’s representatives have been keeping up with his options, as his fit is in question, he will not be loaned and United are not actively trying to sell him, so a substantial offer would need to come in as he would 100% have to be replaced. Over £50m pounds and his interest in leaving. Napoli still following the situation but not actively negotiating as United’s stance has been clear and they’d need to bring a much bigger offer.

Do u guys mind we sell Ganarcho to Chelsea?
I don't mind if they offer 80M GBP.

Same applied to Napoli, same price tag.
He just worth that price.

Some of our fans really look down too much on our own players and even some moron think it is good we can sell him for just 50M.

Ganarcho worth 80M GBP in real world transfer market, end of.

Even if those moron think he doesn't worth that price, why it is always we get conned by other clubs, but it cannot be another way round?

If Chelsea can conned us 60M GBP for Mount, with only one year contract left.
Why we cannot con back Chelsea 80M GBP for Ganarcho?

The fact is, it is not even con, Ganarcho just worth that price.

he is worth more than that for sure... bear in mind he is just 20 with a lot of potential? and a lot of room for improvement... these days ppl just expect a 20 year old with 1 2 year senior football experience to deliver like a 26 year old ronaldo? personally i wont want to sell him but who else in the team can be sold for that money to generate cash for future purchase? dont get the hate he gets for being young and selfish. there is another senior player not playing for the team for how many years and still escape media target

Don't understand these financial fair play stuff. We never had such problem during glazers time. Keep pay big money. Maybe Woodward really is money generator. Or it's just Jim Rat excuse to save money for himself.

Now kesian till need sell unpolished jewel to buy.

shows u how much money we used to generate despite being shite on pitch.. just survive on the old fame and money... see the chart of owner investment by clubs then know how much has been taken from us by glazers... maybe can add another one is after this jim... how much is invested and how much is saved.. since he does so many booting out of old staff and cost savings.

What has changed is that years of under performing has finally caught up to us. Financial fair play uses income as one of the factors to determine how much you can spend.

One of the most lucrative is CL qualification which is why clubs make a big push for Top 4. In the earlier years, we underperformed but still qualified for CL so we can still spend. Then we started missing CL qualification. Which means income take a hit and subsequently spending becomes limited compared to what we can previously.

Glazers have always been a problem. They are still there. Partly thanks to Sir Jim because we would have Arab ownership otherwise.

If Garnacho needs to be sold while he still has value to help the squad, so be it. Better than him becoming like Rashford and becoming worse.

Of course. During SAF, our players taken by top clubs (eg we are like Real Madrid feeder club).
And we used to take top quality players too.
So what’s Amorim said is just plain truth.

Imo I think ETH took it down few levels more with his favouritism signings and and letting go real quality players like DDG, Sancho and Greenwood

ETH also wanted to implement his style of play but reality makes him backdown and revert to style that suit the players and it haunt him in mid second season and third season, Amorim on the hands never back down to his 343 style, that’s why a lot of players can’t cope and not up to his expectations.

Greenwood not his fault, it was local woman group pressuring the club to sell him

DDG was good in reflexes but poor in ball distribution, ETH got no choice but to let him play his style, clear the ball far whenever possible. The only bad thing was how ETH handle the departure, he could have do it better by having testimonial match to send him off. Bad PR here

Sancho also bad PR, the way he handle Sancho vs Amorim handle Rashford really different.

If u look back during Ragnick’s short term, yeah he was not a good coach but in terms of judging players abilities, he is good. During his time he already bench Rashford, he also doesn’t really like Shaw, but during his time he really prefers both Sancho and Elanga but when ETH, Elanga was sold and Sancho having issue with him, Rashford banging 30+ goals and earned a big fat 350k contract and become poor since while Shaw turned into Shawberto then back to treatment room since

Antony went out for loan, we lack of one RWB / RAM for now.

It seems like we are full force going to LWB - Lecce Dorgu.
Surely ready to play right? Unlike Amad case again.
Bought, then loan here loan there, only play for the team regularly after almost 4 years.

Rashford seems only wants Barca, but Barca byk issue.
High chance he will stay I think.

Ganarcho also high chance staying, won't believe the club will accept 50~60M bid for a player that we can sell for 80M.
Most importantly, mana ada masa utk cari replacement.

80M? He max 50 to 60m quality.

50 to 60m considered a lot already. Without that flamboyant look or Argentinian national team squad player, he most only 30-40M if he is from Southampton or maybe from Leicestert

With his recent performance, which team wanted to pay 80m for him? Saudi? PSG?

Rashford won’t be leaving, his PR team already released hints he will be staying.

Now with AC out of the picture, they turned their attention to Hojlund, they wanted to loan Hojlund.

Who knows, loan out Hojlund then Amorim have no chance but to play Rashford again

That won’t happened, if that happened, we only left Obi Martin

Rashford - nobody even want to pay 150k for his salary and his PR team already hinted that he wanted to stay. Continue take 350k salary

Zirkzee - after Juve loan die off, nothing and he already mentioned he wanted stay and fight for his place

Hojlund - since Rashford too expensive to loan, AC now might want to loan him

Quality is one thing, market price is one thing.
Like it or not, he "idol" image also worth some $ in transfer price.

Mount transfer price was 60M, Kai Haverts was 65M.
Douglas Luiz was 50M, Pedro Neto was 50M,
Amadou Onana was 50M.

I simply can't see why Ganarcho market price not reaching at least 70M GBP.

And u exactly said the point, he worth much lesser if he is from Southampton or Leicester.
But he is from Manchester United, that is why his market price should be higher, not lower.

Merely just 2 months ago. He was still the arguably the only player together with Amad, that still performing in this shit team.

80M is ideal price, but 70M shud be the minimum.
Again, I am not talking about quality, I am talking about market price.

Which club? If Arsenal willing to pay 65M for Haverts, then there will be clubs willing to pay 70M for Ganarcho.
Not even a talking point.

His flamboyant blonde hair + his idol is Ronaldo + that bicycle kick that won his Puskas + MU homegrown = max 60M

Mount and Kai cuz both won champion league during Tuchel’s time. Mount and Kai won’t worth that much but Chelsea conned both us and Arsenal paid expensive price for them.

Douglas Luiz, this was because Juve and Villa were doing some trading in between to make the FFP looks good. I can’t recall which other players who involved.

Neto was wolves best player, Onana was always been the midfield maestro for Everton and carrying the team.

Now back to Garnacho, he was good last season most of the time coming on as subbed and few good matches plus that goal of the season acrobatics kick, beginning of this season until now he missed chances after chances after chances and I would said he was one of many who cost ETH’s job.

70 to 80M? Maybe in FM or FIFA/FC, he is worth that but current market price, he is not unless Vivell, Wilcox and Omar able to nego Napoli to up the price

Sancho should have been a loan with option not obligation, Amorim should have had a chance with him (regardless of if Sancho even rediscovers his old self). Greenwood thats on himself, DDG yea sure but long term we needed a modern GK anyway, but for me at that time our lack of goals was a bigger issue than GK, should have just kept DDG for one more season and get Kane (instead of wasting on Onana + Hojlund).

Suddenly thought of this. Putting Onana in goal is like putting a 3rd goal post between the post. If they shoot and hit the post, of course it won’t go in. But they found a way to shoot between them. IMO Onana is just as good as a goal post. Period.

I don’t wanna see him in next game.

Why spend 40m in an unknown from Italy while there’s 16m buy back clause from Benfica? Omar doesn’t know the math? Wilcox and Vivell not aware?

I wonder how the math works for a buy back tbh, we sold for pure profit, now if we buy back can that be amortized also or no? LOL

And if youre using 16m, its gonna be 25-33 range instead of 40 since thats euros.

16m is in pounds, so around 17 or 18M in euro?

Buy back is like buying new player again I guess.

Selling Garnacho for let’s said 50M is pure profit enable you to spend 150M on players with instalments drag until 5 years, that’s 30M per year. That’s why the club wanted to offload Garnacho, given the fact that Ineos is poor LOL

I think taking a look at how bad we have become, its very very important we say sorry to Ole for calling for his sacking.

I would jump at the chance to have him back again even his last season is not as bad as this.

Not that I'm not trusting Ruben, he is starting with an even worse set of cards, just that perhaps Ole wasn't doing too badly with what is essentially the same core of players we have now. ETH has really messed up big time with his neither here nor there and I also cannot forgive him for the 600m pound of throwing money into the drain. No team can properly recover from this. Only Pak Arab can write off 1b like its nothing. Not even Sir Rat (well we know he's here to make money not to loose it).

Eric Garcia stay at Barca, meaning Rashford also stay, quite sure.

It is now whether Ganarcho leave or stay, and Dorgu come or not.

Wow ok. I still think Ole on his best was better than anything we’ve had since Fergie. Of course a lot of it was counter attacking but it’s been our dna for so long.

Ole was good during covid lockdown time when we playing in empty stadium

When start open up and fans started attending match, the team starts loosing, 3rd season when Ronaldo came, it disrupted his plan already

If kasi ole chance until now, most likely ada trophy already. We easily secure top 4 under him. Then lose 5 games in short period = unacceptable. Cause fans still ada standard that time.

Now we lose like nobody biz and trust the process lol. Ya despite eth 2 trophies, he really did a lot of irreversible damage. Buying 600m of lousy players really hard to recover. Not everyone is Chelsea. Even though price tag not his biz, he does share the responsibility of choosing the players.

All because of Ronaldo la. Because need to accommodate him, rashy, sancho, greenwood can't play regularly. And Ronaldo not prolific liao. But still way better than Garnacho 😂

Rangers are championship level and we play so hard to beat them

Garnacho 70m?

If we can’t sell him for 50M, we won’t able to sell him at 70 or 80

His quality nowhere near a fit Mount

Besides Chelsea, don’t think any club will bid higher than that

Napoli? Conte wants him but boss don’t want to spend that much

PSG? Does PSG needs him?

Real Madrid? Vini is there

Barca? They are poor

Saudi?

Who else? Dortmund if hire ETH could loan him 🤣

So don't be surprised if Garnacho deal comes though...

Let's face it, INEOS must be thinking, with Casemiro and Rashy stuck with us, Garnacho remains the fastest and easiest way out for the club now...

Garnacho just need a good coach to improve his finishing. Unpolished gem. But Manchester United if stay long enough, then you become mediocre.

Look at mctom. Conte and Scotland know how to use him, and he shine.

Here, we don't play to players attribute. Really quite a disaster to hire 3-4-3 coach and don't give him players. Now want give but need sell pulak.

McTom just let him play simple football and he will be shine
See how ETH used him last season, no need do any dm work, no need him to do fancy passes, just roam into the box and he scored lot of goals

If you ask him to do defensive work, cover which area and other things he will tends to don’t know what to do

Thx Ruud for beating Tottenham.

Our pressure off a bit due to our main competitors for place between 11th & 15th both lost today.
Even 14th place West Ham also seems losing.

Gosh, can't even believe I am actually calculating if mid-bottom table teams are losing.

This season we will fight for avoiding relegation, that is a fact.
The players just couldn't adapt to new system without sufficient training.

We will play like this every game, lose is a norm, win is due to lucks.

If our objective is beating relegation then these are the points we need to collect. Worry about everything else later. I know out of sheer frustration we want relegation but reality is much easier to rebuild here than down below.

rashford can go do one, no one bats an eyelid. it's frustrating enough to have bruno throwing tantrums on the pitch at times, seeing rashford jogs are doubling the chances of further depression. lol

Which is why is important to set an example out of Rashy...

It just shows how bad Rashy is when Ruben said he willing to play a coach rather than him...

Maguire endure and improve and he get to play now, Rashy not improve and keep on play those stupid tricks then he will need to bear the consequences.

back problem. since that injury, he never the same again, cannot dribble pass players, cant track back, no more speed. he didnt change his style of play so he stuck at his wide forward role now. unless he willing to adapt, change his style, work hard and try to fit into the no.9 role which he cannot because of back problem. cannot hold the ball, cannot become target man. useless.
amorim plays with wingback and 2 no10s so cannot fit him into the system. he has to go.

Sometimes when some fans say that lets just play academy teenagers instead of those regular players,
then there must be some other fans with totally opposite opinion, saying "come on la, senior football is not the same as academy football".

The fact is, within these several years, for every season,
our teenagers has emerged non stop.
From Greenwood, to Ganarcho, to Mainoo, to Amad, to Collyer.

That does not even include Alvaro that we have sold.
I personally think it is one of the worst decision by Ten Hag, he caused himself to be sacked.
Selling a left back when we need a left back.

Some fans think Ganarcho is not good enough, but at least some club willing to offer 50M for him? Not bad huh?

I won't even dare to say this if our U18 team is just average in U18 league table.
The fact is, our U18 academy is currently the best in England for 2 or 3 years already.

It is time to use our academy even more.
The season is done anyway, this season 50% is about to avoid relegation, 50% is about prepare for next season.

Other position is fine, but if we failed to buy a left wing back, then it is time to develop Amass by giving him senior football playing time.

Another position is AM, it is an headache position as none of any current senior players actually play well in that position.

If Amass is good, he already on the bench or training with first team.

Garnacho, he is into 2nd season, and you and me and many can see, his body build still very small size, his idol by that time start working hard on his body, skill and technique already. His contract is until 2028 if not mistaken but what if he demand a 200k next season, will you accept his demand or sell him 50M? Or wait until someone to offer 80m? By then many clubs will play the RM trick and ask him to run out his contract. FYI, he was from our academy but he spent 10M to buy him from Atletico Madrid.

He was about to get axed from the team if Ralf still the manager or become DoF cuz during Ralf interim time, he was demoted to sub bench.

Then in come ETH, that season he scored like 30+ and our amateur DoF Murtough and amateur CEO who’s his name again? give him 350k contract and after that we know how shit he was until today

Fun facts
Ralf Ragnick never likes Rashford and Shaw but he likes Elanga and Sancho

He might not be a good manager or coach, but the way he judge and evaluate players are better than our amateur DoF and ETH

Eth got sacked because he wasted 65m on mount which practically doesn't improve the team at all.

Once you spend big money wrongly, then will need to bear the consequences. Eth spend twice wrongly. Once on Antony, another on Mount.

Ole also wasted on Sancho. When they are on the brink of sack, these big money player supposed the one that carry the team but instead not even fit to be on the starting 11.

I'm not arguing about Martial, he was good when he was at his peak. Those were the days: Rashy + Martial + Greenwood.

But all 3 are gone now. Maybe Amorim should put his 65yo assistant as striker. Mana tau can score better.

Why are you comparing with Ronaldo? They dont even have the same stature or even playstyle. Next season would be 2026 so still 2 year on his contract yea. FYI your figures are wrong yea, United paid like 500k for him.

Usually nego for extension when left 2 years

What if he demand 200k? Will you accept?

That time left 2 years not many teams willing to pay 60m, they might wait to sign him on free.

I forget which youngster we spent quite a big chunk for him

He is copying his idol play style, which is the signature dribbling to byline then cut back long shoot.

Duran Al Nassr here we go
Villa easily beg 75m in the pocket
Meaning no room for Casemiro as their ESR slot was full, he going to sit at bench and earn 300k/week

- Manchester United have already agreed to sign Sporting CP full-back Geovany Quenda as he eyes a reunion with former boss Ruben Amorim in the summer, says A Bola. Quenda, 17, has caught the eye in Portugal and is a perfect fit for the right wing-back spot in Amorim's 3-4-2-1 formation. Sporting have him on a contract until 2027, which includes an €80m release clause, but the report claims that an offer of €60m was enough to get the deal done.

Ralf Ragnick eyes on player potential never a doubt, see how good Elanga is

I wanted forest to finish top 4 and qualify for any euro competition next year, then will see if they can cope or not

Last time Brighton, Newcastle qualified for Euro and they struggle in all competitions cuz lacking depth

There are add ons bonus there - maybe qualify for later stage of UCL or finished top 4 and qualify for UCL again next season.

I wish he can perform well so that Villa can sign him permanently - let him suddenly banging 20 goals in 6 months or bring Villa win UCL also can, as long as he is gone with good price next season 😇

Manchester United is pleased to confirm that Patrick Dorgu has joined the club, subject to visa and registration.

The Denmark international has signed a contract until June 2030, with the option of an additional year.

Dorgu, 20, has played 57 games for Lecce, contributing five goals already. The versatile defender has enjoyed an excellent season so far, having won the second-most ground duels in Serie A and attempted the fourth most take-ons of any defender in the league.

He also scored with his first touch on his international debut in September.

Patrick Dorgu said: “I am incredibly proud to be able to call myself a Manchester United player; this is a very special day for my whole family.

“I cannot wait to work with Ruben Amorim; his vision for this team and the future of the club is incredibly exciting. There is a clear plan set out for my development, and I feel that Manchester United is the perfect place to fulfil my potential and complete my huge ambitions.”

Jason Wilcox, Manchester United's technical director, said: “Patrick is a really exciting talent; his strong defensive and attacking attributes, adaptability and work-rate will make him a key part of Ruben Amorim’s squad.

“Patrick has had a superb start to his career, and at the age of just 20, we know he will continue to develop under the guidance of our excellent coaching team.

“Patrick is the latest exciting young player that we have brought into the club. We believe that each of these talents has world-class potential and the ability to play a key role in achieving the success that everyone at Manchester United is striving for.”

I don't think you would like that when others calling you on such offensive way.

Ugarte - he was pretty bad for the last 2 weeks, can see his movement was quite slow, fatigue?

Amad - after that hattrick, his form was not consistent

Mainoo playing forward? First 10 min was good but after that he pretty much invincible.

Bruno being Bruno

Dalot o Dalot, mistakes

The rest….ok

Just be aware of Mateta, the guy got the pace and even Ugarte lost possession when press him

Surprise with the setup of the match especially against physical side like palace

How amorim expect mainoo to hold as false9 against so bulky n hardworking palace?

Garnacho dribbling oso seem hit stumbling block today
Last time he used to dribble pass opponent but not now

Henderson almost free for most of the time except corner

Totally speechless

Wonder what Amorim see in this formation setup
Doesn’t seem working in first half but still keep on for 2nd half

Man Utd not backing Amorim much during Jan window
Expect Amorim to work with this bunch of player till end of season?
Gonna finish out worst than mid table
