May I ask if 2 in 1, like yours durable? Or get separate unit? How bout electric consumption?

My LG 2in1 is 14yrs old. Can't complain anymore.

Electric consumption is low provided the sun is pirioty. (Not frequent use)

But 2in1 is not suitable for big family and frequent wash.

Not frequent use on which mode? The dryer? How frequent per week? How many member considered as big family?

Your post doesn't mention why do you need to change your Electrolux...is it spoilt?

I owned 3 Bosch washer/dryer combo at all my residential units. All working fine and durable...energy saving too

I only wash 1-2x perweek for 2person.

It's also because I brought a bigger size 12/7kg. And bigger size save the consumption and longer lifespan.

More than 3person and a lot of washing perweek, the washing is occupy the dryer side time.

And drying take longer time too. Cause combo only can do 1 job.

As someone who owned an LG DD machine, I say this is not true at all.

3 times a week for 4 years with occasional air drying, works flawlessly everytime. i'm a lazy person deswai i don't buy a separate unit for dryer. i used to use the normal wash and air dry feature everytime on the 1st 2 years, but i grew tired of the wrinkles it makes on my cloths, so now i just either use quick wash (45 minutes) or quick wash and dry (1.15 hours - not entirely dry and still need to use fan to blow) function.

i dont really keep track of it's electrical consumption, but my bill is always below RM120 every month (with occasional air-cond usage).

I bought cheapest 10.5kg front load, Toshiba brand. Used to own Electrolux for 6 years. I would say that the current technology on the cheapest brand surpasses the mid-tier brand from 6 years ago. On the lifespan, currently on 2nd year, no problem. Time will tell.

Yours got issue? I got Panasonic front load and a ccp viomi direct drive one at home. When washing blankets, Panasonic non direct drive one always suffer from load balancing issue during the high speed spinning stage. The other dd one no issue .

It feels like the current Electrolux isn’t as good as the previous Zanussi, which lasted over 20 years (the Electrolux was purchased about four years ago).

I’m considering switching to a different brand since I’ve already tried two from the same manufacturer. I’ve noticed many people here highly recommend LG.

We used to have an LG washing machine > 2 decades ago

It was a top loader.

Very good - never broke down in the 11 years that we used it. The only reason we bought a replacement is because we need a bigger capacity.

But please don't buy Toshitba. We bought one to replace the LG. Bigger 12kg capacity. Direct drive somemore. Every 1 or 2 years something would go wrong with this machine mad.gif necessitating the technician to come and repair.

The final breakdown was when the control board went kaput. No replacement part available. So we dumped it.

Replaced it with a CCP Hisense front loader. 10.5 kg. Cheap cheap. Most of the "kids" had grown up and there's less people living full time in the house. This CCP machine very rock steady no vibrations. Wash very the clean also thumbup.gif
