ask your friend which insurance company is he using 2 years back....call them and tell them about the letter he received...they will settle it for you

Technically the motorcyclist want to claim your insurance again. But nvm, insurance will settle themselves, wont effect your NCD as you already claimed your NCD.

Just want to say that I know what you went through, and I feel for you. I luckily only suffered a broken wrist, but the lawyer part of the story is similar. My conclusion is that ambulance-chasing lawyers are leeches.

Same pass everything to the insurance company. The same thing happen to a friend. His car broke down at night so he parked by the roadside and later retrieve it the next day. A few months later got a lawyer letter that someone on bike crash into his car and got injured. No visible damage to his old car so he just pass to his insurance co. No case after that.
