Lately in many countries, roof solar is encouraged bcos it is cost effective, so MY should encourage this b4 going nuclear. South Australia is one good example.

Heck even required by law yearly audited financial accounts can be ignored like nothing. This post has been edited by COOLPINK: Dec 21 2024, 02:59 PM

yay.... malaysia got new tech to play with....
so who are we going to get to build some nuke plants? must be CCP rite, since it is the cheapest and they are not sanctioning us.
can we have these plants at Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang and Johor at the eastern coast? except johor can build it nearer to the south is fine. plenty of water in these states... hehe

Exactly, however our solar setup cost is still to expensive compared to other countries. Our gomen not yet supportive of this solar alternative. TNB anyone?

By mid 2025 when Ron95 n electricity rate go up, there will be a rush to have roof solar esp if one is getting EV. This post has been edited by MGM: Dec 21 2024, 03:20 PM

QUOTE(JimbeamofNRT @ Dec 21 2024, 02:29 PM) 2024 already lah bro. even CCP already run fourth generation nuclear reactor this aint the jurassic three mile island type Chernobly, fukushima and three mile paved the way for better tech and sop We can leverage it for our own use. Let's face it. Energy cost will be the prime factor that will slow down most economies going forward. We want to take a leap forward we need to take a chance. But whichever govt that pulls the trigger must invite public to scrutinise as much as possible. It won't shut up the armchair nothing better to do but complain apeks but it will help convince the majority if done well

QUOTE(tokroni76 @ Dec 21 2024, 12:55 PM) Good Build at least 3 Gen 4 reactors . Must be near the sea. So one in Lumut, Kuantan and opposite Singapore. Towards 100% real green energy And the one opposite Singapore I propose we do a new type of cooling tower design. One middle one taller than the rest Like a middle finger
