That’s why build near PM or Parliament. Then we can be assured of safety…Malaysia ke arah nuclear

QUOTE(gaeria84 @ Dec 21 2024, 11:11 AM) Nuclear too risky, one mistake, kaboom! and the waste want to dispose also so mafan If the gov wants to promote nuclear, it can provide thousands of good examples. If it wants to promote other source, it will provide thousands of pros as well. It is all in the narratives. For me, if they want to have nuclear power, then plan it near Parliament or PM’s office. Then we can be assured it is safe. Can focus on doing more solar farms, or concentrated solar |

QUOTE(commonsense @ Dec 21 2024, 11:11 AM) It is a war crime to attack nuclear power generation plant. Those who did it will be frowned upon by the world or many nations of the world. No one has tried it yet. But we have seen what happened if someone used chemical weapons in war. Attacking nuclear power plants and causing fallout later is no different.I think a more dangerous scenario is being targeted by terrorists, which don't care how others think of them. fongsk liked this post

QUOTE(vhs @ Dec 21 2024, 11:03 AM) If cannot meet renewable energy target why not open up more NEM? Seems to always quickly filled up. Or TnB cannot afford to have too much home owned renewables or cannot make profit? Then it could be a policy issue instead which TnB as a key energy player needs to plan out properly how to meet that target. since when that can ever work? Europe experimented with this and failed horribly. Now germany has regretted they shut down their nuclear energy plants in favour of other renewable energy Phoenix_KL liked this post

I meant TnB should have got a plan that does not require nuclear power. They could have encourage home grid to have solar power by having more NEM but that's not happening. So TnB does not want too much NEM? End up it is their choice to use nuclear power instead in order to meet green target? All those questions, can only be answered by TnB. |

Because if you understand physics, then you'll know solar power doesn't make sense. The tiny minuscule power produced by solar panels cannot even power the factories and heavy industries. Sure solar can power your private homes, but that is so far away from meeting green targets march4th and Phoenix_KL liked this post
