henpon are getting expensive but manufacturer still die2 dont want to make 2 years as standard warranty term.
even if they extend the warranty period,they will add the cost to the phone price, see xiaomi T series(2 years warranty) and poco F series(one year warranty), similar spec but T series are few hundred ringgit more expensive.

i believe some country already did mandated to give at least 2 years warranty. our country probably wont do so because it will increase the cost of low end phone, hence anger the b40s

even if the issue happens to 5% of the users, it wont warrant for a product recall because of the design flaw. the best manufacturer could do were replace the screen even when the product is out of warranty.

pink line =/= green line

sama ja,
to make pink line, red and blue line of pixels need to be stuck. but manufacturer can pusing pink is not green.

you can use heat too.


most sophiscated is laser wan, but the idea is the same, to restore the oled traces.

meanwhile i got an ifag collegue shocked that my phone is only rm800 in second hand market. iphone like screen, fluid web browsing, pro max screen size,solid (enough) build quality, 5g speed.

no la, mostly its because of water damage, humidity creep in and corrode or short curcuit the oled component inside.
i got my phone greenline just few an hour after the phone soaked from rain. good thing xiaomi just replace the screen (still in warranty) in one business day. your phone probably last longer if it sit in aircon room all the time and the phone is properly seal (water proof)

it still complex process to refurbish the screen, but hey at least it is far cheaper than ori (could be refurbish) screen.
the oled panel for my phone is around rm190 in aliexpress. that is cheap.
rm178 also got yo.

every kind of phone manufacturer got this issue la.
my phone used oled panel from tcl. still kena green line.

its a common oled failure la, nothing new. if it is really manufacturing defect, you will see the green line much earlier. what you having right now probably either water damage that corrode the components, electrical failure, wear out bent cable or physical damage.
you just having a bad luck, either repair the screen or buy a new phone and move on.

this is why i hardly invest on expensive phone, stuff breaks.
