Hi all,

I was wondering, how user-friendly are the baby cots with adjustable base? Usually I see they come with 3 height settings. There are those that you can eventually remove the side rails and it becomes sort of a junior bed for smaller kids.

How easy is it to assemble, disassemble and then reassemble these kind of cots?

For me I bought one end up not using it much, now is storage for supplies.

At first we did use it but after a while we stopped using it because the baby clingy, now the baby share bed with us.

I've been using Babylove's wooden cot for a year now. It is quite easy to move the base, just screws at each end. I only had to move once as once baby learns to stand or pull up you need the lowest setting. This particular cot is also usable until they are around 3 or 4 (as long not a tall child) so that is why we invested in it.

It depends. I'm still using it, and it's easy to switch them around. And, I have been hearing from most that baby cot is useless because their LO end up sleeping on their bed. Mine was trained to sleep on cot since her birth, never expose her to sarung nor pacifier. The only thing she relies on is swaddle.

Nevertheless, it is better to keep the baby on cot rather than on the bed
