Hey guys. Just want to vent .

I was a Digi customer for the longest time.

was on postpaid 58, but monthly now reaching 80+ , dunno why.

now porting out and change to YES,

already paid outstanding bill - RM80 +

then they request to pay "hotbill", maybe prorated stuff, rm 23 plus.

they also called n say why want to change, we can offer u better plans etc.

but i ignore n say yes i want to port out.

then suddenly they say port out request rejected due to not fulfill contract obligation , and then they straight shut off my line . Ended up no line when i was hiking yesterday.

my question is,

1. If i do have a contract and port out rejected, why they shut off my line completely?

2. my YES manage to activate, so no choice have to insert new SIM.

3. Already paid so much to terminate my line, yet they still won't let me go. FYI my line is not with phone, my phone i buy myself, should be no contract whatsoever.

If I do have contract that Im not aware, they can mention during the phonecall. But no, they didn't mention anything , ask me to pay the hotbill, all clear, then reject my port out request.

I'm really bummed by this. Anyone else have encountered this issue?

Was it MNP (retaining same number)? I think the port out was successful lah since the Digi line cut off already and the new YES line was activated.

I got that plan you talking about too ,last time when offered they did mention a period the plan would be under contract but I passed that period and no notification since. Maybe you just got it so your CS didn't represent you the details.

Anyway go to Digi center not the express but like the SS2 one those kinda places. Btw what made you to switch to Yes.

Will go to the Digi center. I think already passed 2 years, by right should no more contract, so long ago that I didn't even remember it.

YES is much2 cheaper . Also I live and work in YES covered area so it makes sense.

DIGI said request unsuccesful. Scared will have to pay double at end of month, DIGI and YES. Doesn't make sense. After I cleared all payment on DIGI line summore.

This one will depend when you successfully port out before or after the next billing cycle.

Dun worry too much about minor things here la.
Important your new line activated and your not in limbo with no line activated.

It seems that likely was unsuccessful message was because of some error maybe because you hiking in poor signal or something

Because if YES line with same number activated means it is successful already
