QUOTE(acbc @ Dec 7 2024, 09:24 AM) Never link CC or DC to any online services. This. I prefer manual key in because I know it's me. You never know when your kid access your phone and randomly click or any major screwups from the service. No matter how secure the system is, there is always some one smarter to hack around. QUOTE(AdisonMak @ Dec 8 2024, 09:04 AM) ??? You can pay by cash. Just pick the payment method during checkout. Its for company purpose, so I dont use it alone. Plenty of my staff use it too. Imagine the hassle of paying with cash, with every staff have to ask cash from me before they proceed as I am pretty sure they dont want to use their own money, even thought they can claim it. Centralized system is the key here. QUOTE(acbc @ Dec 8 2024, 10:01 AM) Not the matter of security but responsibility. When shit happens, u get passed around like a baseball. Exactly.

QUOTE(*lightbringer* @ Dec 7 2024, 12:16 AM) Dear all, Since May - July, my credit card that linked with Grab apps had been charged with multiple unauthorized transaction. So I did what sane people did, lodge a dispute to my CC provider., and cancel my card. My CC provider then liaised with Grab, and I got my refund. The problem is Grab system held me accountable for all those that happen. They still let me use their apps, but they limit all form of payment, even cash. In short, I can access their apps, order this and that, but I can't pay with anything at all, so in the end, I still can't use it. I tried calling them, and they emailed me with follow-ups, as attached. Feels like this is a classic case of big corporation bullying their customer. I thought of complaining to BNM, but it seems like Grab is not under their jurisdiction. Any other portals I can lodge complain to? or is it gone case already? Grab is under APAD: https://www.apad.gov.my/en/services/taxi-an...d-1604579088023This post has been edited by hafiziza: Dec 8 2024, 12:01 PM

You did the right thing: whenever banned by a private company or seller, just buka tered and whine here.
So much energy and time spend over rm21, I will be astounded if you are not B40, suggest work smart and change to uplift your life
Anyway, the chances that you did not charge the rm21 for your own ride is exceedingly low, financial burden must have caught up
