Dear all,

Since May - July, my credit card that linked with Grab apps had been charged with multiple unauthorized transaction. So I did what sane people did, lodge a dispute to my CC provider., and cancel my card. My CC provider then liaised with Grab, and I got my refund.

The problem is Grab system held me accountable for all those that happen. They still let me use their apps, but they limit all form of payment, even cash. In short, I can access their apps, order this and that, but I can't pay with anything at all, so in the end, I still can't use it. I tried calling them, and they emailed me with follow-ups, as attached. Feels like this is a classic case of big corporation bullying their customer. I thought of complaining to BNM, but it seems like Grab is not under their jurisdiction. Any other portals I can lodge complain to? or is it gone case already?

Read the post. Its an authorized transaction. Why should I pay for something I didn't purchase?

Thought of the same too under different email. Unfortunately I think the account is linked to phone number too.

If you never used it, of course you should fight for your right.

Maybe it is your time to boicott or find another alternative?

As much as I want to stop using them, they are still the better option. I still can use Foodpanda for food, but their delivery system is limited. I use grab mainly to send parcels, mostly documents such as reports to my clients. Lalamove need to use their wallet, which I'm not a fan of.

As much as i wanted to, I dont think RM23 is worth the hassle. Maybe just complain to whoever in charge of keeping them in line, and move on.

Like i said, I use it only for the Grab Express, sending parcels. Lalamove need to topup their wallet, and PandaGo is limited. Example, I cant send parcel from Bandar Kinrara to U5 Shah Alam because its too far.

I'm also looking for this, their phone or live support is non-existence. Email reply duration is weeks.

case reported to grab usually resolved in one or 2 days.
i am not sure where did you come from.

for this case, did you provide further proof to grab that you did not utilize their service?
well 20 bucks (approx) is not a big amount, but it is important to solve this amicably.

From: everywhere, yet nowhere.

from your post, your card data did not leak, the supposedly unauthorised transaction is from your grab account charged to your linked cc

so did you worked it out with grab first to confirm whether this is a hacked account case/someone using your phone/you ordered grab for someone then regretted it afterwards before requesting cc chargeback?

like it or not, u still dealing with boomer. Yes, old peeps still alive, and as much as it irritates me, its how they used to do business and force us the younger generation to deal according to their ancient way. Reports usually used for submission to relevant authorities, they dont accept digital copies. And most apek company need "original invoice with chop and sign" to process payment, which I also dont understand the difference between I print and send to them and they print it themselves.

So yes, as long as these kind of old farts still alive, we have to deal with them, their way
