A.few weeks back a family member had to be admitted. Paid a deposit no issue.

1. Two days later during discharge I asked for refund. They said cannot - must come back during office hours.

2. I got today request for deposit. They said cannot - need original receipt.

3. I need to wait to go back in January 2025 as they claim today is the last day to get refund for this year. System will be closed in December 2024.

WTF guys? What the fuck is going on with our hospital system, give so much of runaround for such a simple matter?

They already have a requirement that the person who paid the receipt needs to claim the deposit with their IC. So this shouldn’t be a concern.

What about their refunds being offline for the whole of December month?

I went today to ask about the deposit.

The attendant says I need to submit a MANUAL REFUND REQUEST as my deposit from November 2024 has been closed. She took my details and will call me in a month or two.

Guys, is this for real?
