Claiming deposit from government hospitals

A.few weeks back a family member had to be admitted. Paid a deposit no issue.
1. Two days later during discharge I asked for refund. They said cannot - must come back during office hours.
2. I got today request for deposit. They said cannot - need original receipt.
3. I need to wait to go back in January 2025 as they claim today is the last day to get refund for this year. System will be closed in December 2024.
WTF guys? What the fuck is going on with our hospital system, give so much of runaround for such a simple matter?

Ori receipt request seems fair.
come at office hour seems fair request too

3 is a bit far stretched eh. First week of December Baru close for 2024. Still in time to claim. Such lazy staffs.
But during the deposit payment they should’ve given you a small slip with all the conditions clearly written or pasted on their window.
