Ok, better than james/gusto as inverting RB, but he too good not to be in midfield full time
Season still long... need livarfool to slip this season  whistling.gif

QUOTE(Akmall540 @ Dec 11 2024, 01:31 PM)
i would like to add a bit about the london derby last weekend.

caicedo inverted rb and badiashile as lcb is not working due to high pressing by spurs players. they managed to press man to man and badiashile dominant leg is his left leg so he is not comfortable enough to receive the ball from sanchez and turn his body to find a better pass to his team mate. enzo quickly rectify this and bring out lavia (which is not related to his performance or injury, just tactical tweak) and bring in malo gusto as natural right back and operate as inverted rb.

sanchez will always plays like that because enzo principal is to play from the back and sanchez as +1 during recycling the ball at the back.

to be frank when cucurella slipped twice and spurs capitalized on that mistake i do feel very frustrated but deep in my heart i feel that this team can score goals and spurs are losing their best cb partnership in van der ven and romero. they lost vicario too which is their first gk.

so idk maybe i feel like i believe in this team spirit to fight back and turn around match to get the result.

and we are not a title contender yet. not yet.

look like Boehly was right telling us to play 4-4-3 laugh.gif

Plus no injuries is good enough.

Wow! City really in free fall in luck and points.

How long this bad result can last until something snap?

The 115 lawsuit are tormenting them mentally

i quite enjoyed it tho  laugh.gif

for me it was Masterclass from Everton, very old school park the bus counter-attack  laugh.gif
no one else felt the Mourinho era "Chelsea vs Barcelona" vibes? only this time, we were the ones "tiki-taka" and Everton were the ones with a wall  laugh.gif
and holy crap there were times our defending really took my breath away in a BAD WAY - can heart attack sia!

yeah.... Everton just need ladyluck 1 time not helping us or helping our goalkeeper sanchez be godlike saving and we are done.. laugh.gif

the pressure of catching up Liverpool and as title contender really mess maresca and the young players.

Lost and drop points now is better than at the end of the season.
I don't see us as title contender anyway.

Liverpool really can smile this Christmas with the rest of the pack dropping point. Arsenal should win against Ipswich and goes no.2 in standing, let them lead the rest of the pack chasing Liverpool

Like i said, teams already figured out botak tactic

This was the easiest stretch of our fixtures and we blew it adei

Rip top 4

I guess you are right.
Didn’t watch the first half but 2nd half we were outplayed.

When we got the ball, straight pass it to the wide and opposition players straight away protecting them from going forward or slow down until all players into positions.
When all the time it big open space in the middle to exploit.
Mark palmer from getting into middle or any ball movement to the middle and we are dead meat without any real chances to get the goals.

We really lucky they didn’t get more goals and won the match.
Look like it will be go to template against us nowadays.

maresca can do 5 wins in a row or not? brows.gif

with next 5 opponents in the list
I think better buy lottery, got better chance hitting jackpot
Maresca leave it too late to win matches and collect point
we just drop too many silly point

we must win against Newcaste & Forest matches and get similar result or better for the rest of results to stand a chance of top 5.
Then hope Villa don't come crash the party by grabbing the top 5 by goal different jer, leaving us behind

I can forecast Forest and MC grab 3rd & 4th spot due to easier 5 matches.
If MC lose or draw against Villa, then it all open up.
If MC can beat Villa, then they can home run to finish line. Maybe can get top 3 after that.
I do hope MC win against Villa for us to stand a better chance than they sneak in grab top 5

The 5th spot will be between us and Newcastle. Depending on who don't perform badly.
When we meet them on MW36, it will winner take 5th spot unless Forest goes lose form now and lose badly before meeting us on final match.

ok lar.. they deserve it.
They are the only club play consistently getting the points and on target to go over 90 points by end of EPL if they want it

The rest of clubs, no eye see lor. all cannot get even close to 80 point marks. doh.gif

what a statement win against the champion.

as i said, win vs united at home and forest away is not too much for ask.

united are still in the UEL and amorim might bring the youth to face us at the bridge.

i would say 9 points left available, we can get at least another 6 points. newcastle away is not our best hunting ground tbh.
*
I think MU will be all in on this to be able to qualify for CL

Newcastle match result will hold important both us and Newcastle. Both cannot lose this match or the chances will be harder to qualify for CL
Unless of cos Forest slip and lose tomoro morning matches. If we win against Newcastle,
Newcastle may need to do the impossible double win against Arsenal to stand a chance top 5
Don't think Arsenal after CL with PSG, can win against pride wounded fully rested new EPL Champion Liverpool

Forest drew 1-1. I believe they are now fumbled near the finish line. They are not used to this situation. Last season they were fighting relegation battle and barely escaped.

The race for top 5 is in our own hands right now.

haha... if Arsenal do lose against Liverpool, it opens up 2nd and 3rd place for grab.

us fans konfem pumped  thumbup.gif
if we use the same logic as in MU will go all out for Europa, then Arsenal only has UCL glory left to really fight it out for, maybe the Liv-Ars game 0-0, just enough to keep 1pt ahead of mancity away from second place  sweat.gif
who knows, we have our own european glory to chase after too, can we finish the EPL at #2? Bob the Builder says YES WE CAN! HERE WE GO!  lol.gif

haha... if we can finish above Arsenal, me already laughing hard laugh.gif
& thinking how the hell we can do that at end of the season rclxms.gif
