I think it getting clearer to see what Boehly & co doing now, buying many young players on long term contract and telling the players perform and reward will await them.
If not, will find them a better home (loan or sold) during the long contract period with similar or better paycheck and at same time earn a profit for the club.

Footballer careers have very short lifespan and if unlucky, only need 1 major injury and they are done.
They got nothing to lose plus long-term contract securing their future at least until 27/28 years old worry free first.

The more he rubbish Chelsea than talking about how good his team means how much he afraid we can actually clicking as a team and challenging for trophies.

I actually like he talk and rubbish our challenge, the boys will have more incentive to proven all of them wrong to write off our potential
