we must win against Newcaste & Forest matches and get similar result or better for the rest of results to stand a chance of top 5.
Then hope Villa don't come crash the party by grabbing the top 5 by goal different jer, leaving us behind

I can forecast Forest and MC grab 3rd & 4th spot due to easier 5 matches.
If MC lose or draw against Villa, then it all open up.
If MC can beat Villa, then they can home run to finish line. Maybe can get top 3 after that.
I do hope MC win against Villa for us to stand a better chance than they sneak in grab top 5

The 5th spot will be between us and Newcastle. Depending on who don't perform badly.
When we meet them on MW36, it will winner take 5th spot unless Forest goes lose form now and lose badly before meeting us on final match.

tbh, I think the team most likely to blunder is Forest. City & Chelsea were cup finalists, should be able to withstand pressure better. Newcastle is like Jekyll & Hyde. If both Manchester teams beat Villa, then Maresca's job shud be safe icon_idea.gif

city already won vs villa this morning, so that's half way done laugh.gif tbh forest deserve to be there in #3 (now #4 la since city won), their own fairy tale run thumbsup.gif
but idk - we also got our own game vs united later on, and i dont see us winning it unless onana really blunder king become ohnono - or we somehow pull a page from forest's win over manu earlier this month sweat.gif

MCI: WOL (A), SOU (A), BOU (H), FUL (A)
NFO: BRE (H), CRY (A), LEI (H), WHU (A), CHE (H)
NEW: IPS (H), BHA (A), CHE (H), ARS (A), EVE (H)
CHE: EVE (H), LIV (H), NEW (A), MUN (H), NFO (A)
AVL: FUL (H), BOU (A), TOT (H), MUN (A)

Man City (61 pts) P34
Nottingham Forest (60 pts) P33
Newcastle (59 pts) P33
Chelsea (57 pts) P33
Aston Villa (57 pts) P34

By the looks of it City got easy run for the race of top 5.
we in the other way around. we have to face liverpool (most possibility with guard of honor), newcastle at st james park which is not our good hunting ground, united, and our rival for top 5 finish forest away from home. i would say we will get no 5th.

top 5 seems unlikely even top 6..i am just not confident the remaining fixtures are hardest among all rivals competing for top 5. only thing we can hope is liverpool is already switch off after winning the league this weekend.

We didn't win the games that we should have and could have won. What is left are the tougher games, with teams sitting above us in the league table.
I am not putting much hope to qualify for UCL. Damn Maresca's words have manifested into reality. What a blardy downer manager to have.

And we are not learning from mistake to sign at least 1 or 2 established players to steady the ship. I think the team now is not that bad. Just need perhaps 2 experienced players to lead the team, one defender and one striker.

maresca out if he fail in conference league and out of top 8 (8 also could qualify for conference league if MC, forest or Vila win the FA cup, with 1-5 UCL, 6th + Fa cup winner for Europa/7th, 8th Conferene (as newcastle winner via EFL))

Bournemouth is now 8th with 49, and Fulham is 9th with 48 vs. ours 57(+8 points ahead). Thus, it seems like Maresca is quite safe and will be here next season if play in Europe is the passing mark.

at least 68 points needed for 5th place (11 points out for last 5 games?) 3wins 2 draws biggrin.gif whistling.gif

Our UCL bye bye, if forest and newcastle win 3 games out of 5.

Jackson really give us a bit of hope.
If Forest & Newcastle drop points, then only we can say the chances are up for grab

putting noni in right wing and neto in the left made them much easier to take on defender using their best foot (outside) going wide..

ok lar.. they deserve it.
They are the only club play consistently getting the points and on target to go over 90 points by end of EPL if they want it

The rest of clubs, no eye see lor. all cannot get even close to 80 point marks. doh.gif
